My foot has a painful bunion, and these sandals fall in just the right place to give good pain relief. They are very light, and the straps are easily adjusted for the best fit. The arch support is medium, but good enough for my needs. I like the high back on the heels to help keep my foot stable. The bottoms are SLIPPERY! I almost returned them immediately, but they felt so good on carpet. I had to be very careful on the tile floor. What fixed them, was sanding the bottoms with a light grit sandpaper. My husband did that for me, and there was immediate traction. Give the sandals a good rub on the grass or an outdoor carpet, as the black will come off for a few steps. I was looking for a sandal that would fit a wide foot. This shoe does not. The top strap doesn't even begin to fit over the top part of my foot. I do have edema which causes swelling so you need a longer strap with longer Velcro to accommodate these conditions. Very disappointing. My feet get swollen as I’m wheelchair bound. The velcro fasteners make it easy for me to put on. The middle strip came up short for me but adding an extra velcro strip fixed that shortcomings.
