I really like these shoes and have had multiple pairs over the years that I wear every day for work. I found these to fit well, are really comfortable and are made with high quality materials. The availability of wide width sizes are a plus. The rubber soles have a rounded part on the heal of the shoe, I have noticed that this has corrected an uneven wear issue that I had been experienced with every shoe I had bought before finding these. I believe that my issue with the uneven wear was caused due to the amount of time I spend driving. I found that the rounded up part of the heal on these keep my feet centered, keeping me from angling my feet which may have cased the problem. Dress shoes are so tough to find when one places comfort at the top of the list with the shoe fashion. Need to have shoes that not only look good, but feel good. And, last a few years. Wearer is a 10 wide and these shoes were right sized and soooo comfortable from the first wear.     • Another Painful and Poorly Made Nunn Bush
Size: 10.5 Color: Black
Painful and poorly made. I have purchased and worn numb bush dress shoes for almost 18 years because they usually have a good balance of comfort and cost. However, 2 out of the last 3 or 4 pairs I got have been very uncomfortable. The upper part is stiff and puts so much pressure in places that I have a bruised pinky toe. The inside of the back feels like it’s cutting my heal and gave me blisters and extreme pain. I had to remove them when I got to work and put bandaids on my feet. The walk to the train after work was worse. But I didn’t give up. I gave my feet a few days to heal and tried again. This time I put bandaids on first and wore two pairs of socks for extra cushion from the stiff upper parts. I experienced some relief, which I think was from the bandaids, but the heal pain continued. I tried again with similar results and as I write this, I’m wearing them again maybe for the last time. I understand that some break in might be needed, but I expect the shoe to break in, not my bones and flesh. Even if this is just a bad pair and not indicative of all numb bush shoes, it has ruined my experience. Both of the pairs that I had trouble with were from amazon. I don’t recall having any issues with numb bush shoes from DSW or even TJ Max and I suspect Amazon gets the b-stock or rejects. Also, the last time this happened was also after the return period and when I reached out to Nunn Bush customer service, it was such a hassle for that I gave up before receiving and replacement or refund. ... show more

Might be good for restaurant work if you never have to walk through the kitchen. Otherwise these are dangerous. Not oil resistant just provide the minimum of slip resistance to achieve the certification. They are almost more like non slip instead of slip resistant. Three stars for comfort and style. The shoes are nice and look great. If they ever make one that is truly slip and oil resistant I really want one. I ended up buying the florsheim Wingtip oil and slip resistant shoe. ... show more
