We brought this to Germany with us for our 9month old. It is easy to carry and clean. We would just put it in the stroller compartment and bring it with us everywhere just in case. Yes, it isn't extremely secure- you don't want to leave your child for to long unattended, but it didn't bother us because we were eating with him. He enjoyed being up, almost to table height as well. We brought it to restaurants and it was discreet and great for smaller cafe's and restaurants.
