I am a docent at 1843 Pioneer house. I wear this dress each month when I go to volunteer. I received many compliments on the quality of the material. I found this dress to be very reasonably priced when I compared it to other outfits from this era. Highly recommended.

The dress is nice and flowy, but it's not cotton. It's a thin synthetic. The apron may be cotton. Seems to run big perhaps.

The dresses run at least one size small. We ordered seven for our church for old fashioned Sunday. One came with a rip in it. The other were so small, we were lucky to get them on. They are already starting to frey at the zippers. They look like they were homemade from a pattern. I would not recommend at all!! ... show more
