This was a gift for my almost 8 year old granddaughter. She LOVES these roller shoes. She got them yesterday and she wanted to wear them to bed. There is a learning curve to using them so she was a little frustrated at first, but has practiced enough that now she can use them well. They seem to be well made. It’s easy to turn the lights on and change the colors. There is a “ key” to take both the front and back rollers off and close the spot with a “ door”. The video for the shoes showed a button on the back that when pushed, the back rollers go inside the shoes. This is not the case on the ones we received. It doesn’t matter. She loves the shoes. They are heavier than regular shoes. She chose the blue ones that have iridescent wing shapes on the sides. They are true to size. She says they are comfortable. ... show more

The shoes are sparkly and stunning in person. My daughter wears a size 13 little kid and I purchased the size 1 big kid shoe. The fit is really good. The wheels glide well across the floor. My only 2 complaints are that the shoes didn't come with installation instructions. The installation instructions provided on the seller's website I was unable to see all of it so it wasn't helpful. I had to use a video from YouTube instead. Another thing that I didn't like is that I thought the two wheels were not fitted correctly into the slot (the metal prongs are long) and I had to use a mallet to hammer them into the slot. A couple of whacking and they were in there. Overall, they seem like a good quality and good price for the shoes. ... show more

These shoes were just okay overall. On the positive side, the lights work really well, the colors look exactly as advertised, and the material feels sturdy. However, the wheels don’t roll as smoothly as we hoped. The fit is a bit tight, and the shoes are on the heavier side. We originally planned to use them at the airport, but even on a flat surface my kiddo had trouble getting them to glide smoothly.
