Inspired from mid-century design, the laminated particleboard and MDF complement the black metal hairpin legs for a fun retro look. The medium brown woodgrain finish pairs well with any décor from modern to classic. The double wide stand offers plenty of space to place a record player, speakers, and stereo or even decorations. Keep your remotes, cassette tapes, and record mats or weights for your singles stored away and organized in the 2 drawers. The drawer cutout gives the stand a clean, no-handle look that is easy to open. Keep all of your albums organized in the large open cubbies that feature metal record dividers to keep all of your albums upright. My husband and I wanted a nicer looking way to store our record collections, and this stand does the job! It fits a good amount of records and doesn’t take up too much room. The walnut color is really nice and matches our other furniture well.

Assembly was pretty straight forward, taking about an hour in a small space, but I have noticed a number of small issues in my short time with the unit. Overall the build quality is sturdy and piece placement is very logical and seems to aid in the bracing of the unit. The colors are nice (I got the walnut) and the size of the unit is functional without being overwhelming (I got the double-width station). The drawer bottoms are quite flimsy and they flex very easily. I'll expect these to fail in short order. Also the drawers do not align square to the front of the unit because of where the holes are placed. It's rather minor but looking at other reviews it can range from hardly noticeable to obviously flawed. Mine are off by about 1/4 inch over the width of the drawer, nothing deal breaking for sure. That said, the drawers roll nice and close softly. I also wish the drawers were about 1/2 an inch taller so they could store CD cases which would make this a true listening station. The biggest issue I have are the flimsy dividers at the bottom for records. They just barely sit in the holes and even with pressing and coaxing just hardly stay in and are not sturdy at all, also noted in many other reviews. I may either glue them in place or remove them entirely. They would probably be fine for a small number of records but nothing substantial. The bottom of the unit has embedded nuts to strengthen the mounting for the legs. Something like this for the dividers would help tremendously. I'm still glad that I got the unit while it was on sale but I'd probably give it 3 stars if bought at full retail price. ... show more

I purchased this to hold my turntable and records. This piece of furniture looks really nice, seems very sturdy, and the drawers work well. The worst thing about this item is that it took me just under 2 hours to put together by myself. Overall, it was easy to put together, just took some time. It was also slightly bigger than I expected, but I really do like the size. The drawer rails took some tome for me to figure out, as they weren’t labeled and I am not the most handy person. To address the metal dividers on the bottom shelf- I had some difficulty installing them. Here is what worked for me: push the divider into the back hole first, wiggling and twisting. After pushing hard, insert the front end into the front hole. Use a hammer to tap the top of the divider a few times. There still is some movement to the dividers, but they are able to hold up records without falling over. ... show more

This wood piece is absolutely fantastic! Although it may require some effort to assemble, it's certainly worth it in the end. The beautiful color adds a lovely touch to any space, and it makes for a perfect accent piece to hold a record player and records.

I'm quite pleased with this piece of furniture. The wood is sturdy, attractive, and the whole thing is relatively easy to put together. (not complicated, just time consuming) There were some tiny blemished on the front pieces, but nothing worth sending it back. They are barely noticeable. It looks fabulous in our space and I love the functionality of having the shelves and the drawers. My only complaint is that the black metal "racks" meant to separate records on the shelves do not have a very sturdy way to attach. They barely set in the holes. We put a cloth over top of them and then gently hammered them in, to make them somewhat stable, but they're still not super sturdy. That may be something we need to watch over time, but for now I'm happy with the console overall. ... show more

Been looking for a piece of furniture for our turntable with specific dimensions and this fit the bill! We have an area in our living space and this fit perfectly. It looks great and we are very happy with it. You do need to put it together and it took my husband and I a little over two hours to assemble, but then we did not rush through the process. All the pieces and parts needed were in the package. The only problem was the top was damaged, there was an 8-inch long crack on the top which was visible. I called the number on the product assembly manual and explained the issue. They were more than helpful! I called on a Friday and we had a new top piece that following Thursday. We did assemble the entire product and just removed the damaged top and replaced with new one. Highly recommend this product, not only because it looks great, but the customer service was outstanding!! ... show more
