I really like them. The laces are strong, the shoe is strong enough to hold my weight and isn't one of those hollowed out heels. I should mention I am very obese, and I walk to most of the places around me including for doctors' appointments. They are comfortable to wear, good leg support when tied right. Also, being as obese as I am, I almost in the past years have exclusively bought boots from Nortiv 8. Never had an issue with stitching or hollow heels. I usually end up only wrecking the shoes I get mostly of sure stupidity like not putting them on correctly and usually that is the back of the boots I wreck while the rest generally stays in really good condition. Like with my glasses, with boots I tend to get too comfortable with slipping them on and off and that generally is how I end up wrecking them. I have 5 pairs I got in the last few years of different kinds or color scheme. Generally, the only other thing I tend to have to replace after a bit in these boots is the inserts. Otherwise, I could probably wear the boots for a couple years if I was smart enough not to be too lazy when putting them on.

I have danner acadia's which are heavy, and had some cheap big 5 response gear that blew out but I scored these four 35 bucks and honestly there's nothing else close to the quality these offer for that price or even near double that price. The outsoles are the grippiest I've ever seen but I haven't wore them yet to work so time will tell on longevity but they do feel comfortable.

I am a woman with a prostehic foot. I had worn out my sneakers & realized the new pair of sneakers just were not going to do what I needed. I walking game went from 0-100 with a quickeness & the rainey season was about to start in sunny South FLA. I converted the women's size to mens. Thes boots are not only comfortable, but give me GREAT support around my ankles as well as my toes are protected. The biggest factor for me is the rubber bottom that helps me in keeping my balance while walking over unenven surfaces. I will be buying another pair in a different color; awsome design as well.

These are water resistant at very best. Only reason I’m not returning them is they are comfortable I’ll just be careful as to when I use them I actually didn’t think they’d be waterproof for $40
