After reading several reviews, I decided to ignore the negative ones and bought these work boots. I'm a professional firefighter. I have to stand for hours. I tried 511 and Bates brand footwear, but I ended up with sore feet and back pain from long periods of work. I bought these boots primarily for their appearance and specifications. I must say they're the best boots I've ever tried. They're comfortable, lightweight, and well-built. None of the negative reviews I read are true; they're a great value. No more back or knee pain. The sizes are true to size; they don't run large or small; they're accurate. They look professional and tactical. 100% recommended.

I wasn't sure about these boots but I took the risk and decided to give them a shot. Wow was I thoroughly impressed. Very comfortable standing on concrete for 8 hour days. I have plantar fasciitis and was worried about them not being soft or supportive enough. But these boots perform perfectly. And that's without adding any additional insoles.

Great quality so far. The only thing I wish they had is a pull tab on the tongue to make it easier to put them on. Most Nortiv 8 boots I’ve purchased do have that and these do have one on the back of the boots which is good, but having one on the tongue as well would help a lot with putting them on quicker. Over all though they seem decent. I definitely would get your own inserts though as Nortiv 8 inserts are usually pretty basic. They are a little harder to clean since they have more of a porous fabric design but that fabric also seems more durable than the supposed “rip-stop” style ones that literally only last a few months of daily use. The toe end seems a little narrow for folks with longer toes, but overall I like them so far. I’ve been wearing them every day 6 days a week for the last 1.5 weeks and with other more supportive inserts I bought here and they seem to be working. If things change I will likely upload an update.

I work as a hospital PSO and these boots do the job! It's like you're floating. If you're on your feet a lot, these are a good choice. I don't feel the concrete floors underneath me for the cushioning of the sole. They're very lightweight, fits good, they're durable, feels good around the ankles and there's no rubbing. They're not your high end name brand boots, but they do the job for me. As far as arch support, it's good but I have a fallen arch, so I have to wear additional support. My coworkers complimented often and some even ordered them. I would definitely purchase another pair.
