  • A Good Boot For The Price
Size: 11 Color: Dark Grey-8 Inches
I have purchased these boots (Dark Grey, size 11) on THREE occasions. I wear 10.5, but I would recommend ordering a half size up. They are comfortable out of the box and provide good arch and ankle support. I DO recommend getting a pair of insoles to replace the factory ones, you will thank yourself. I wear these all the time and although these boots are not specifically stamped as being "non-slip" they will pass employer scrutiny, unless your boss is a REAL stickler. Generally, I will walk about 8 to 15 miles daily and perform extensive job duties on my feet. I have one leg slightly longer than the other and often inadvertently kick that heel against the ground. Having said that, I will describe my experience with these boots: 1st Pair. I was impressed how comfortable out of the box they were, but leery of their quality due to the price. I wore them daily, walking on many types of surfaces. I wore them through the winter, shoveling snow (as part of job duties). With thick socks, these boots are quite warm. They lasted until spring (about 6 months) when I stepped in a puddle and got the wet-sock on the heel where the sole had worn. 2nd Pair. Again, comfortable out of the box. I caught these on sale for about $52. I subjected this pair to the same conditions as the previous, but this pair lasted around a year. I retired them after hiking Zion National Park in the snow. The soles were worn to the point of being dangerous on those switchbacks, and I was a damn fool to wear them up there. Also, the right boot began taking water around the ball of the foot and soon the entire boot became a sponge for water and mud. 3rd Pair. After having a ceremony for pair #2 and laying them to rest. I ordered my current pair. I have yet to test these in winter conditions, having only worn them for spring and most of summer. Again, these were comfortable out of the box (more so after replacing the insole). I hiked close to 30 miles in Boston a week ago and my feet never hurt. EDIT - My 3rd pair has begun taking water and have been retired six months in. I never did test them in winter conditions. I've decided to switch brands. All-in-all, a $60 pair of boots could do you a lot worse than the experience I've had with these. If you're on a budget and need a comfortable boot for work that you can wear outside of work without looking and feeling like a lunch lady, these are it. ... show more

  • Very comfortable and easier to put on than most side zip boots
Size: 12 Color: Sand-8 Inches
I have worn these on a couple of weekend hikes now and around the house as work boots. Very comfortable. Easy to put on - easier than any other boot I have had. The Tongue is stitched to a full height with a liner on each side which stabilized the tongue when you put the boot on. No painful misalignment you need to mess with the get the fit right. I have never had other boots with this feature and it really makes a difference. Also boot slides right on with no fighting to get your foot into it. I have had some very pricey boots in the past and frankly, these are better. The mentioned tongue side webs, the sole is actually stitched vs. only glued, very comfortable to walk in, no blisters even on break in, plus I can have a whole closet of these things if I wanted for the price of one set of the more expensive boots. Definitely recommend. ... show more

  • They're pretty good
I got these boots a few months ago, and I am *mostly* satisfied with them. To preface, I work at a quick lube, so these boots have been through probably some of the worst conditions they will go through. I've covered them in oil, water, DEF fluid. Sometimes I need to anchor myself in a bay and they get shoved into the frame of a vehicle. These boots have lasted longer than my last pair. They're waterproof and very durable. My only concern with them is they are not entirely slip-proof. If I walk in a spot of oil, I look like a character in a cartoon slipping on a banana. They do well in every condition except motor oil. So as long as you aren't working in a shop, these are the work boots for you! If you do work in a shop though, be cautious of your step. ... show more

  • They are so comfortable
Size: 12 Wide Color: Sand-6 Inches
They are so comfortable that I bought 2 pair, one tan and one black. I have a high arch so it is hard to find a boot made to fit and still be affordable. They could have improved them two ways. 1) make the web behind the zipper a little wider or put a finger loop on the back. I have arthritis in may ankle so it is a little painful to put on but I do not want to cut the web off as it keeps the dust out. I also bought two of them as they were almost half off. I had Bates boots for over 7 years as they are $100 - $170 a pair. Mine was only $10 at a yard sale. Blessings comes in pairs. These boots are just as comfortable as the Bates boots and were half the cost. Only time will tell if I get the same miles out of these boots. ... show more

  • Great boot
Size: 10 Color: Black-8 Inches
Love these boots. This is the sixth pair (not all for me). I have four. One for son in law, one for grandson. My first par from a couple of years back is still going strong. They are true to size and very comfortable. However if you have high arches you will want to get an appropriate insole.

  • OK so far
Size: 11 Color: Sand-8 Inches
I bought a pair of these to replace some similar Texas Steer boots that after several years of use wore out. I only have a couple days use on them, but so far they are OK. They appear to be waterproof due to the flap under the zipper, but I went ahead and treated them with some silicone waterproofing spray. I have not yet used them in wet weather. I only wear these at work maybe once every two weeks- when I don't ride my motorcycle, as I'm concerned the shifter would make a mark on them. If they hold up OK, I'm considering getting a pair of lined boots in black for winter use. ... show more

  • Just as expected, and fits well.
Size: 9.5 Color: Black-6 Inches
My son wanted a replacement for his tactical, side zipper, boots. These were less money than his last boots but seem as good or better. He seems pleased with them and had them on for the first time today with no complaints. Then he had them on for team shooting practice. They seem everything we had hoped for in the boots. ... show more

  • The fit is nice, well made.
Size: 9.5 Color: Sand-6 Inches
I'm pleased with these boots so far. They fit well, comfortable to wear right out of the box. It's too soon to tell how long they will last but they seem well made, good soles and I'm looking forward to putting a lot of miles on them.
