I really like these, I haven't had them a long time yet so I can't say much for durability until I wear them out a little but so far these are excellent I tried some Oakley boots and a few other expensive brands and honestly for the price I like these way more theyre very comfortable and they're very light so you can run in them if needed I will definitely buy again. I'm not wasting money on "name brands" anymore these are perfect for a fraction of the price and they are true to size if you wear Nike a lot they should be about the same unless you have an oddly wide foot or something but if that's the case they do have wide sizes. These are truly an awesome boot. I wear boots every day and these are a great boot...I know boots and these...the quality, fit, comfort...I have spent 3 times as much and they are no more comfortable than these.

I’ve had these for about two weeks. I’m a land surveyor, so I’m all over job sites, back country, creekbeds, sand and snow. They’re solid. Very comfortable, light… I can wear them 12-13 hours no issue. I like that they’re soft toe because it doesn’t set off my metal detector. The waterproof claim however is not true. Extremely water resistant; you could dip your foot in a creek for 3-4 seconds and your foot would be dry. BUT, when you walk in snow or sludge all day, the constant water exposure seeps through and your foot will get wet. I will say though, it’s not a miserable experience, you can just tell your socks are no longer dry. Overall, solid boots especially for the money. It’d be cool to see a “pro” or something soon with a tire company/vibram sole in the future, and with loops on the back to pull them on easier ... show more

I've had these for over 1 year. I used them 5 days a week and they have held up great. The soles have not separated nor has the leather started to deteriorate. Also they have not began to smell. I love that it has a zip up liner plus the laces which makes it easy to put on and take off without tying the lace. The liner also provides great water protection. I order the wide version and the fit very comfortably and after being on ur feet for 8 hour ur feet don't feel like they have been in a vice. ... show more

I work in an automotive shop environment so comfort and good non-slip soles are essential. I used to buy "Original Swat" boots with no complaints except the price got higher for each successive pair, (prices do seem to have dropped a little bit since 2020). My last pair were "Bates" but have since been discontinued or revised, no complaints either. but these boots are just as good as the above but the price is almost half. If I can get a years life out of these I will have no reason to buy any other brand as long as they are available. I can wear these all day, or longer, with no complaints. well constructed, good fit, side zipper makes for easy on/off. not for winter wear, but sturdy with good ankle support. will be my go to for spring/summer back country boot. additionally, this company has some of the best, most responsive customer support i have encountered in any market place.

They seem OK so far, but it is too early to tell whether they work well or not as I have only worn them twice and they are not yet broken-in. The side zip has a web across the opening, which makes it a little tight to slide them on for my big feet and twig legs, since they are laced up tight. The fit was spot-on. I will update the review in a few months after I have worn them a bunch. UPDATE: I have worn these a bunch while hiking now. They've dropped a star since my initial review. They're still OK, but just OK, not great. There are a few annoying items: 1) The side zippers are way lighter-duty than I would have expected for this application. I expect the zippers to be the first things to go. 2) The web across the side zip opening is not very generous, meaning the boots are still a chore to get on and off. Another 1/2 inch of material would have made slipping them off and on much easier. 3) I could forgive there being a web in the first place if it helped with water protection, but it does not. If you step in more than maybe an inch and a half of water, your socks are getting wet pretty quickly. I've put maybe 30-40 miles on them, so they're still pretty new. They just don't have the feel of some of my previous boots. They still look good, but they feel as if they are just not going to last very long. ... show more
