  • Grippy
Size: 10.5 Color: Black-8 Inches
Normally I spend 150.00 or more on Bates or 5.11 but just needed something without spending a lot. Seem well made, the tread is very grippy. I've seen some say they are slippery, but you have to remember how friction works, water on a smooth concrete surface like a warehouse floor will be slick no matter what. Once water hits the boot you are now standing with water as your grip surface. The tread on these boots are a softer rubber so they flex with terrain. So far for my job you can feel the flex and grip. Comfort is good. Only issue Im having is the insole, on my right foot under the ball of my foot the insole is popping, feels like my bones are crunching. Ill just get a Dr Shoales insert. No biggie. But for the price they are a good boot. ... show more

  • Not bad for the price - handles abuse well
Size: 13 Color: Black-6 Inches
Durability Update: These lasted 7 months total, however I abused the absolute heck out of them. What killed them was my trip to the ocean and getting them soaked in salty brine, which caused the soles to become unglued. Tried to fix but didn't work as hoped. Old boots are still usable for dry locations, so will make my old pair for dirty work projects. Still some life in them. In my pics, you can see ALL of the seams are still very tight. Was a good feel to wear long term and stand in, probably 3 thousand hours wearunf. The sole wear is very impressive, there is still good tread left. I've hiked and walked hundreds of miles during my ownership, they still grip sketchy terrain very well (Even wet grass on a slope). Prior review: So, after 6 months hiking with my dog in unusual and diverse places, and playing with the local FD, the bottoms finally started to separate. I think it was the salt water I had gotten soaked with that caused this. Some shoe goo squirted in, and all is good suprisingly. The tread is holding up fine, and the grip confidence while traversing sketchy terrain is still exceptional. Very difficult to walk silently with, they clop a little. If your careful, you can mitigate that when needed so it isn't too bad. I kept the original boot liner, found it molded to my foot shape readily enough after a few days and is comfortable enough to stand in all day. No issue with any junk material breakdown inside the boot (Like most boots I buy), or anything other than the sole separation as mentioned which was easy enough. Will try to update this review when I finally replace (Probably with the same ones). ... show more

  • Great boots
Size: 12 Color: Dark Grey-8 Inches
Iv owned these and worn them almost daily for 5 months now and theyve held up great. First couple of months in heavy winter they were fully waterproof but after that they start letting the water soak inside after prolonged wear in deep snow or water. They still super comfortable and the laces and zipper holding up perfectly fine. Only issue is the top velcro bit on top of the zipper after a couple weeks went out and since then just loosely flop around on each boot but besides that theyre great. They have been my daily shoes, workout shoes and work shoes and have performed great in all of them. They have gotten quite stained over time but for me personnaly not a major issue. For this price its a great pair of combat boots. ... show more

  • So far they are Good (part 1 and 2 of review)
Size: 13 Wide Color: Black-8 Inches
I have had these Boots for 2 months and they have performed well. They are all leather and seem to be very well-built. The fit is good and it seems that there are no weak points in the construction. I am a former US Army infantry soldier, and I’ve always worn boots over the past 35 years. I know when boots are good, and when they are not good, I have owned other boot brands and they have fallen apart or you find weak points in the construction. These boots are definitely worth the money so far. I will come back and do another second part to this review after I’ve had them for a longer period of time to give you an idea of how long they hold up and if there are any weak points or problems. I recommend them if you need an answer today. I have owned Response Gear (RG), Smith & Wesson, Bates , Corcoran and many other brands. I am hard on my Boots. Part 2 - April 2023 (a day away) - The Boots are still doing well. No Failures in stitching or Construction. The only area that seems weak is the Toe where the Rubber meets the Leather. I am on my knees working a lot and the Rubber started to break off a little. The integrity of the stitching is still ok, but just saying that there was a little problem. Beyond that - I always purchase in-soles with Arch supports for my Boots. I highly recommend it if you are on your feet a lot. Also - it’s important that you care for your Boots by cleaning and shining them. This preserves the Leather, and will help keep it waterproof (I learned this in the Army). That will contribute to the longevity of your Boots provided there are no failures in the construction of the Boots. I will buy these again - well worth it ... show more

  • Great boots
Size: 13 Color: Black-8 Inches
I bought these as a requirement for getting onto a marine corps base when riding my motorcycle, they're great, feel pretty good when walking but only for a short time. I typically wear a size 12 sneaker but I got these in 13 and they're not too big or too small, toes are not cramped. Thing i don't like is that they're an 8" boot, I would love if they made these in a 6". ... show more

  • Good motorcycle boot!
Size: 12 Color: Black-8 Inches
I bought the boot based on price and description to replace my last riding boots of 12 years. The boots are comfortable from the beginning with long socks to help with the side zipper not touching the skin. The only “issue” I have is calling the boot “leather”. To use the 80s term Pleather is more accurate. When applying boot polish to help weather proof it, there are no leather pores to absorb the wax. Just sat on top of it and smeared. Hence less stars. Shall see how they hold up down the road. ... show more

  • DOPE!
Size: 13 Color: Dark Grey-8 Inches
Killer boots for the price! Riding bikes all day, crushing mountain trails, fraying a bit here and there but man...LOVE the look, the feel is SUPER comfortable. Could hike/ run/ ride for hundreds of miles without taking them ever off. Just bought my 2nd pair yesterday. Wish they had a cool army green color tho but all gravy. Stop lookin now and BUY EM! ... show more
