This brand of jackets fits great and this one is no exception. I gave this same jacket away as a gift to a new rider and bought this one as a replacement. They keep you cool in the summer but bulky enough to were you can wear layers underneath without looking goofy. The built in pads make me feel comforted that if I do have a spill I will be less injured. The pockets and zippers feel like they are actually usable without wearing out anytime soon. I am 5'10" 185 lbs, and purchased an XL. I typically wear sized "L" with t-shirts and other sweaters, but upon advisement from other user feedback, went up a size to XL. The XL fits well with all the padding points lining up to where they should on my shoulders, back, and elbows. The material is tightly woven and seems water resistant; the stitching throughout is very sturdy. The jacket has plenty of features to help adjust for different temperatures with zippers on the chest and arms to provide for ventilation and additional buttons in the vents to snap in order to prevent too much flapping. There are multiple velcro straps on the biceps, wrist, and waist to help streamline your body by preventing excess fabric from catching too much wind. There is plenty of reflective material on the back for fairly effective visibility on such a dark jacket. Amazon Product Review- Nomad Ironborn Motorcycle Jacket The Nomad Ironborn motorcycle jacket is a quality product, made of premium materials; but has that coveted budget price tag. - Materials/Construction- Starting with the coated, poly outer shell; the Nomad Ironborn offers excellent protection from the elements. Rain resistant with water-proofed zippers, the Ironborn is ready for the rainy season here in Washington. As for the brief summer months, Nomad has provided ample ventilation throughout the jacket. These ventilation ports are secured behind more water-proofed zippers; keeping them secure when needed and allowing ease of access when things get a bit swampy. Another strong point in the construction of the jacket is the myriad of pockets. I personally love having pockets all over the place. The big cellular pocket was a welcome sight when I showed off the Nomad Ironborn to a few of my other biker friends. Their only critique being that maybe the cellular pocket be clear so that they could see/use touchscreen while the phone is in the pocket while riding. Fit- The Nomad Ironborn motorcycle jacket fits AMAZINGLY! At 5’7” 180lbs, I went with the LARGE and was very pleased with the fit. The cut and sewing of the jacket creates a very aesthetic, pleasing look while remaining comfortable and mobile. The soft armor throughout the jacket is also comfortable and secure. I don’t really have any concerns that the armor is going to bunch-up or move out-of-place while riding or during daily activities. It just looks cool. Final Thoughts- The Nomad Ironborn motorcycle jacket is definitely the choice to make if someone is in the market for a quality riding jacket but does not want to spend hundreds of dollars on that choice. Solid construction with top-notch materials, temperature regulation, countless pockets, all while looking cool and stylish; that is a winner if I have ever heard one. This Nomad motorcycle jacket is incredibly comfortable and fits true to size. It comes with a removable liner for hotter days. It is incredibly fashionable and goes with most outfits. This jacket can be used for riding your bike as well as lounging with your friends. It comes with various zippers and buttons to help streamline the fit while you are riding your motorcycle. It can be hung on a hanger or folded up to fit in a drawer. I would greatly recommend this product due to the high quality as well as the low price point. Love this jacket it’s very comfortable and high quality! Has many adjustable straps to fit jacket to your specific body type, has multiple vents for airflow and inside lining keeps you very warm but is also removable! I’m confident it t will keep me riding my motorcycle year round comfortably and safely. Very protective padding but with a slick look keeping it from looking too bulky.
