Installed this along with the NOCO Genius 2D battery charger / maintainer on my 2004 Jeep Wrangler TJ Rubicon. Installed the port on the passenger side front fender well and the Genius 2D right below the air box on the passenger side inside fender. The only issue I had was I had drilled the 2" hole and did not account for how deep the port sits in the hole. My solution for this was getting a hockey puck and cutting it in half and using it as a sort of spacer between the port and the fender well. It worked perfect and is the exact same diameter as the port itself so unless you look closely you can not even tell I used it. This was to prevent the back of the port from hitting the A/C lines right behind where I drilled the hole. The port does include some self tapping screws but I opted to replace those with bolts and nylon locking nuts just to be a little safer and make sure it never comes loose. Another thing I did was purchase 1" heat shrink tubing and putting that over the plugs from the Genius 2D and the port itself just to insure it does not come loose or get water, dirt, etc. inside the connectors there. I absolutely love this and it makes for a faster, easier, and more convenient way of plugging my Genius 2D in, instead of having to open the hood and find the cord that way or dangle it down below the engine.     • Ideal for a tight space
I needed a male power plug for a busy workbench/chest of drawers, and the tight angled offset in this plug's wiring was just the ticket. I bought the less expensive 'Dumble Power Inlet Port' first and tried to modify it to fit. Bad move. After cutting it up I couldn't send it back, and the cutting merely made a messt. The NOCO plug cost almost twice as much, but the angled wire clears the drawers and the cabinet perfectly, so the cost of the Dumble plug goes in the "tuition" column. (NOCO makes a number of fine products BTW. I have had 100% success with them.) ... show more

Makes life a little easier when it come to recharging batteries on a boat. No longer have to climb in the boat, unlock the compartment, find the plug, charge the batteries and reverse the procedure. Just pull a cord to the boat and plug it up. Very easy to install the plug. Just find the spot you want to install it, drill a 2" hole, install the plug and attach with screws which are self tapping. Advise drill pilot holes for the screws much easier to screw them in on an aluminum boat. ... show more

    • Replacement for actual original port plug
Unfortunately the port didn’t fit my Triton Bass boat. It would not fit in and secure the item. So I had to return it. But from what I saw the product is made very well and is described well. Just wish I would have known before buying that even if it appears to look like the original it isn’t.

    • A great transition for anything 120v needed
I installed this in my 2022 Sierra Denali 3500 to use as a transition the my onboard battery tender. See the batteries in the truck go dead after 5 days so I had to install aa two battery tender. It works perfectly.

Bought this to install on my Aluminum enclosed snowmobile trailer. I installed it on the left front of the V nose because that is where the Diamond plate was. Located there because the screws would have more purchase power. Two inch hole saw did the trick . Had to go thru the outer skin ,then the inner wood. Because the outlet pigtail is offset I had to cut a 1/2 inch Notch so the whole receptacle would slot right in. Finished the job with plastic wood to seal off the inside circumference . The receptacle is well built and am especially pleased with the quality of the rubber cap . Looks like it will seal out salt quite well and we shall see about the durability and corrosion resistance of the metal blades . Some of these receptacles come with two pigtails and that's good but I just use a three way adapter and good to go there . Hope this helps. ... show more
