great improvement over the simple control I had. There are no instructions to speak of but a few YouTube videos and I was up and running. The remote doesn't come with a battery and it takes an a27.

This replaced the original computer that came with my Chinese car heater. You have to change the voltage from 24v to 12v if that is how you are running it. Code to get into system is 1688.

Works perfectly came paired, and with a A27 battery installed already. I used mine on a 5KW heater. Most heaters advertised as 2KW, 5KW, and 8KW are all 5KW, except the true 2KW that is smaller. You should be able to use this on any 5KW class with the triangular 3 pin connector...

I bought 2 of them. 1 to replace my old one and a spare. I found out that if you leave power to your heater for a long time (Like 6 months straight) The LEDs that light the display will eventually give up on you. SUGGEST you put your heater on switched power so it is not powered up in the off season, AND make note of the pump and fan settings in your current unit to transfer to the new one. 1688 is the code to get you into the settings so you can copy them down. ... show more

No direction how to change from 24v to 12v. No manual. Product itself did not work for us as the screen was stuck once tuned on.

Very happy with this controller. It was plug and play. I replaced the blue one that came with the heater. I could never get the old one to pair up with the remote control. This one works great.
