  • best affordable tire
besides the comfort on the street they hook pretty good and looks good, very good quality tire

  • Super Sticky
This tire outperforms the mickeys on the street. This is why: o More stable at higher speeds (not talking about 80mph). o They handle well in the rain (admittedly I slowed down to 65mph but my “street” tires-Michelin pilot sports- perform worse). o They are quieter than both ET STREET SS’s, R888R2’s and again my Michelin pilot sports. o These tires are more comfortable on the road then the Michelins but not as forgiving to bumps as the ET Street R’s. o The tires do have a longer life with mixed driving when comparing to the Mickeys, last a slight less than the Toyo R888R2’s but, I’m sure no one is looking at these wondering if they can squeeze 20,000 miles out of these. o Traction on these at 650hp, in a stick shift car, on the road or track, in 60* weather at even 32psi on the street- is amazing. Highly recommend for straight line use. Again, if you are looking at these it’s for a particular style of driving and you know it’s not a cornering tire. My set have been through like 40 heat cycles and they still perform. Hope this all helps, honestly a great street strip tire at moderately low power levels, even in stick shift cars on prepped or unprepped surfaces. ... show more

  • she hooks like a $10 hooker
My tuned Mustang GT on stock tires or even wider 305 street tires would spin 1st to 4th gear and sometimes go sideways. Pretty scary and unpredictable. With these RII’s the car definitely hooks and keeps the car in a straight line. It also has more cushion which results to a more comfortable ride even on sport or track mode. Highly recommend if you have a high powered car. ... show more

Great tires a lot of grip great traction and last a long time

  • Absolutely do NOT drive in rain!
I'll try to make it short but to the point. Grip: They're great for digs, I had a 700whp mustang, it hooked perfectly fine, even as hard as awd cars. Life: About as what you expect, I daily drove the car about 6k a year, and swapped sets for winter. They basically got a yr or about 3k mi, but then again, I'd often do digs on the street. Wet Traction: Absolutely not. I ended up wrecking the car because of these tires. Was going about 60 in a 70mph zone, and they just gave out. Absolutely do NOT drive in the rain. Or if you have to, go below 35mph Other than that, they were good for what I needed them to do. ... show more
