Not sure if the rubber piece will stay on the end of the poles. Time will tell. Great value for the price. Poles are essential for balance.

These snowshoes caught my eye... they seemed like what I needed, and they were certainly inexpensive. But would such inexpensive snow shoes really work? I got them so I could get out during a predicted snowstorm and take some photos, but was prepared to have them not be very well made. I was pleasantly surprised when I got them as they were quite well-designed, lightweight but sturdy, with a great carrying case. The straps holding them to your feet worked well and they performed beautifully for me. And the telescoping poles are quite good. So what was essentially a purchase for one specific outing now looks to be something I'll be able to use many times. Yay!

This was my very first time snowshoeing (or doing any snow-related sport whatsoever) in my life and due to these showshoes I had a blast!!! Packaging: these snowshoes come in a very nice bag that has plenty of room and doesn't seem as if it will rip at its seams. Quality of snowshoes: these snowshoes are on the lower price point spectrum, yet are a great option for a beginner. I used average simple snowboots (nothing fancy) and the straps and buckles easily held them tight. While I strapped them on my feet, my partner used his ancient, old-style snowshoes which he had to adjust for about 15 minutes before we could even head out snowshoeing. Mine were on my feet within seconds and I didn't need to adjust them at all (unlike him) - and we both used new snowshoes for the first time. This was my first winter season (2021/22) with these snowshoes and without abusing the buckles, these should last awhile! For the price, these are great beginner snowshoes!

While using, the buckles loosen and the poles don't stay set for very long. No matter how tight you twist, pull, or clip someone is waiting for someone every little while.

We got these to take casual walks when the snow was too deep for regular walking. They are the right size for both myself and my partner, and I have small feet and he has large feet. Only issue was that I got the strap stuck in there the first time I put it on, and needed a few tools to unstuck it. It got stuck between the latch, so make sure that you thread the tie in two places, not just one, otherwise it will catch on the metal and won't come out. Oddly, in spite of this, it still does loosen up a little as we walk, but it's luckily quite easy to stop and just tighten them again real quick. And they are easy to get back off again too. I had to remember to lift my legs more than usual while walking to avoid tripping, that is not about this brand but just getting used to snow shoes in general.
