The media could not be loaded. Works well. Nice range from dim to bright. Also nice range for the remote. I was able to control from about 50 feet In the (4) preset blinking patterns you can press the dim up or down button to increase or decrease their tempo. Pretty intuitive. Don’t forget to download the app. I added a switch. You can see the LEDs from the sides as 3 sides of the housing are clear. I’ll probably run some black quad caulk along the outsides to try to make them less visible from the sides. You want to try to get them above something so you don’t see the lights. Wasn’t really ab option for me.

If your thinking about buying this to install on your truck or SUV let me save you some time and money - LOOK ELSEWHERE AND DO NOT BUY THIS ONE!!! Read on to find out why I would not recommend this light bar. I Purchased this light bar mid May and installed it on to my truck using the OPT7 wiring harness with no issues, everything worked like a charm and initially it looked great, until.... this past weekend I took my trucm out for the longest road trip ive taken since I installed the light bar, a 6.5 hour drive in each direction, on the second half of my trip while gassing up i noticed that some of the running lights (the bottom row of lights) on the passenger side if the light bar were not lit up, them a couple of days later i noticed another portion of running lights section went out on the passenger side so now it looks like what you see in the picture. This is after having the light bar on my brand new truck for just over three months, this truck isnt a daily driver and is in my garage or parking decks 75% of the time out of the elements so it has not been weather beathen or taken any damage, basically the leds cannot withstand running for long periods of time before burning out, before the long road trip the lights were fine for occasional use on short trips and top red row and middle row are working fine for now but im sure with use they will probably start burning out as well. So overall I definitely think this IS NOT A GOOD BUY FOR LONG TERM USE which is a pain since theres a bit of work involved to install and now have to uninstall the light bar after such a short period of time of use. You have beem forewarned, LOOK ELSEWHERE no matter how tempting the price of this light bar is the hassle isnt worth it to have it break before it even goes through a season, spend a little more and buy a better model.

I just installed these a day ago so I can't say anything on them long term but these lights where stepped on, tripped over and put through the ringer during the long install (got alot going on all at the same time) and I was shocked to see each strand withstand the poor treatment and perform faulesly! Only a few complaints! 1 I recieved 0 instructions (I didn't need them as I'm experienced in the electrical field) but I could see someone lost on the wiring if they have nothing to show them how to hook them up. 2. It was near impossible tfor me to find the app for them!! I even contacted Amazon support and the app they gave me was incorrect. I finally found it on the website. The app is called Happy Lighting. 3. Even using the app which ive only got to work once cause it cant detect the lights for some reason and the color purple is impossible to create which was my biggest disappointment. There purple is pink and there is no way I found to get a deep purple from these lights. The other colors are very vibrate and as bright as you could want or need! Ultimately I'm happy but wouldn't buy them again if only because of the unreliable app and color issue. Take your time plan out prior to install your placements with a measuring tape and don't trust the tape, it may stick initially but it will NOT stay no matter how much you clean (I installed on a brand new car and they fell off). Use the brackets and zip tie's included and your install will be a breeze!
