I purchased this for my son's 2004 Chevy Silverado. He recently put window tint on his windows and made it difficult to see at night with his reverse lights on the tail lights. These lights are very bright and adjustable so you can point more towards the ground or straight out for distance with the adjustment on the bracket. You can also turn the lights to the right or left as you prefer. Installation - as others have mentioned, the bracket didn't fit around the hitch...on the outside. That is due to the chain loops. Our truck has a factory hitch and and the end of that is under the truck had just enough room to install these lights. I actually like how the lights now sit under the bumper. The chain loops very slightly block the lights, but they are so bright it is plenty of visibility. Also, as others have mentioned, the wires to the lights are short, but I used some short scrap pieces of wire to have enough to get to the trailer plug to tap into the reverse light wire. I just grounded the black wire to a piece of metal and it all worked perfectly. I would also note that there was no installation instructions included with this light, but there are some YouTube videos that help. I have purchased other Nilight products and they have all been good quality. I would recommend, but know that if the bracket doesn't fit around your hitch, you may have to get creative. ... show more

NOTE*** The supplied bracket DOES NOT fit a Class 4 or 5 hitch! I knew that up front based upon reviews. I have the tools and skill to modify the bracket to fit, which requires cutting and milling to fit my Chevy 2500 HD hitch. That's ok with me as the bracket gives me ample material to work with. I do this because the lights are good and I want the lights inboard of tire track line. My last set shorted out eventually from salt/slush winter driving. This tow hitch lighting was Easy to install and very bright reverse lights. The kit had everything needed to install and wire the lights. the switch was great to easy to install and turn the lights on and off. I eventually tie the lights into the reverse lights. this was way better. I put it in reverse and the lights are on. Let me tell you they are bright!! Lights up the back so you can see where you're going. Gets everyone's attention. If you want a good reverse lighting this is the way to go!! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Had to modify the wiring harness a bit to be able to reach all the way back to the lights, but the switch and relay worked and were pre wired correctly so no need to modify it. To professionally install it, took about 2 hours. It does not come with a mount for the switch so you will need to get creative on were or how to mount it in the cab. The magnets are strong and where I mounted it, it’s sort of concealed so no one will know it’s held on by magnets. Worked perfect for what I was wanting and for as cheap as it is, it’s bright and seems like good quality. If they do end up burning out at some point I will update this post and maybe get something even better now that all the wiring and switch is in place. I bought a set of these, LOVED THEM,,,,,,,,until I had to drive through a big ditch. Snapped them both off. They hang below the hitch, not enough clearance on top. But worked awesome around home and backing out of store parking spaces. I bought a 2nd set, now I just need to keep away from ditches LOL ... show more
