This will NOT fit a stock 2017 Wranger hitch (not enough clearance between the hitch ridge and chain plate It will work brilliantly with a hitch extension. I mounted these to a 6" hitch extension, and used a quick disconnect...so the lights and extension can be removed if I am going offroad. I can now see to back up at night!! I like the machined clean look but it was too tight to fit over my hitch tube. Luckily it's aluminum and I was able to take a grinding disk to the inner sides to remove about 1/16" of material from each side to allow it to fit snuggly. Both the upper and lower pieces needed to be opened up. I repainted and installed them. I think my only other issue will be attaching the safety chains behind the lights. ... show more

I have a 2017 Ridgeline with factory hitch. It was a tight fit with all the plastic valences and trim. My receiver is shorter than it would be with out all the trim and I spend some time with a file to get my pin back in. Not a big deal in my opinion. I like these, they are plenty bright! Otherwise the wires are too short, an inch more would help the connections quite a bit. I'm still trying get them positioned, there doesn't seem to be much range of adjustment. IMHO, this review shouldn't turn you off if you can handle a little manipulation. I like these. ... show more

This works perfectly for my needs. I wanted some bright lights so when I’m backing up in the dark while plowing I can see better behind me. This set up works perfectly. I saw other reviews complaining that it doesn’t work on the their hitch to that I say it’s a got to be an installer error. I know hitches better than most after installing literally hundreds of hitches and wiring. This would not fit a class 4 or 5 hitch or work with a class 2 hitch but it works fine with a class 3 hitch. You do have to make sure you put it on with the indented side facing the back of the hitch opening so it slides up close to that area and fits snugly in place and you do have to take off both sides while mounting it. Loosening one side and trying to get it to fit won’t work. Both sides have to be removed. Then it will go into place just fine providing you have it facing the right way. I decided not to use the wiring included and just took a simple 4 flat extension plug and cut the end off it. I then butt connected the power and ground from both lights to power and ground wires on the extension wire plug then taped off the right and left turn signals and then all the wires together with more electrical tape to keep it well sealed. I plugged it into my 4 flat on my truck and then turned on my headlights and boom. Working perfectly to give me the visibility I want when backing up in snowstorms. This is the fastest simplest way to do it and accomplished what I need. I even pre-mounted my lights to the hitch mount before putting it on the truck. This would not work for everyone based on how much space you do, or don’t have. For me there was plenty of room and I left the lights just loose enough to turn them sideways so I could tighten up the hitch mount once I got it in place. ... show more

The bracket does not fit ANY of my receivers. Does not even fit over my extension. Tube is too thick on one. Chain rings interfere with the other. Same on my jeep, chain attachment points interfere. Other one the bumper is too close to the hitch.... ect. Great idea, I love the idea..... did not work on any of my stuff, much less the one I wanted it for. Try it if you think it would work for you. Quality was surprising. But, although it said it fit my vehicle (2016 Tundra), it did not. The trailer hitch was the right size, but the weld on it was too thick. Vehicle was previously owned so I'm not sure if that's where the weld thickness stems from, but it didn't fit. As for the product, I was disappointed it didn't fit. I was eager to get these...more disappointed that the quality of these were so high for how much these were and I couldn't use them. :( I seriously looked at other options to mount these but nothing I felt comfortable with.     • This one is hard to provide a fair rating for, but I'll try.

Opened it up, and all looked OK until I started assembling it, then I started to notice a few concerns. Mounting the lights on the bar they are restricted in how much they can be adjusted side to side, as they make connection with the 2" clamp. If you're using these only for back up lights they should work fine. They do have an ok vertical adjustment range of about an inch, which is the slot size the mounting bolt passes through. Neither the mounting bar, nor the light attachment hardware has any notches, external or internal lock washers to hold the light stable when tightened in place. My larger complication came on my specific installation attempt. After loosely assembling the light bar, I proceeded to the truck (2023 Toyota Tacoma SR5), and found the 2" hitch/receiver assembly on the Toyota does not have the standard aftermarket exposed collar that you'll find on any of the receivers (U-haul, Reece, etc), and without an exposed collar there is no way to mount the light bar. More and more manufactures are moving to these new proprietary receivers, which makes it increasingly difficult for aftermarket add-ons. On the Tacoma factory hitch/receiver the safety chain connections are on a plate that continues over and around the 2" mount, and this blocks the access you'd need to mount this type of receiver light bar. ... show more
