Added this light on the front bar and a larger one in the roof. Nice and bright and a nice addition to the lights! BUT, the 12 inch in the front has a little moisture inside now after only about 1 year. So they are not water proof completely. It is still working and nice and bright. I actually ordered some neoprene material and made a nice cover to go over each light to protect it during daylight riding and extend parking outside in the weather. ... show more

This is only kinda bright. It worked fine. No issues with it functioning. I’d classify it as great for the price but not on par with more expensive lights which is totally understandable. This is the second of these I've bought for my 2001 Discovery II (mounted on a roof rack). They're not bad, but be aware that they're 40W, not 300W. At 300w, 12V, the current would be 25A. In reality, they draw ~3.25A.
