Installed the light on my bimini top. It lights up the water for a good 100 feet ahead. I tried several and returned them because they didn't do what they promised to. This one is very bright and has a nice "hot spot" in the center of the beam. It does whistle a bit when running fast, but I slight tilt and the whistling stops. I mounted this on the front of my Zero turn lawn mower and had no issues, it seems to be well built and lights up great. It pulls about 3.6amps at 12v so it is probably rated at 50w not 300w. If it was 300w it would pull 25amps. There is no instruction on the mounting hardware, but it isn't that hard to figure out. I would buy another one, ... show more
