Originally, I bought a 6 switch controller from Extreme Terrain for my 07 Sahara. The switches didn't fit properly. Looked on Amazon and found this one that had another mounting hole for the 07 and 08 Wranglers, so I have it a try. It fit beautifully. Everything hooked up just like the other one, but I really liked how it had replaceable switch covers. I sold mine to a coworker after I had installed this one, so I'm not out any money. Been using the Nilight unit for about 2 or 3 weeks now, and I love it. The 3M double sided tape leaves A LOT to be desired though, but I used screws to keep it nice and tight with the trim panel. I would highly recommend this over the one on Extreme Terrain to any 07-18 Wrangler owner, especially if you have an 07-08 Wrangler. ... show more

Overall I like this switch panel. Installation and electrical connections were easy. It Looks very cool and gives constant readout of system voltage. Having the relay box located under the hood make attaching components super easy without having to run wires to the switch panel for each one. One recommendation to the make would be to add mounting screw holes and supply screws to secure the switch panel to the windshield frame. I tried the supplied two sided tape and 3M tape neither of which would hold so I made my own holes and mounted with screws. Worked great, looks great. It has the screw holes for the 2008 JKU but not the cut out part in the switch box. I got it mounted but the two sided tape didn’t want to stay stuck. I bent the top so when the hold down plate is tight it doesn’t pull the back away from the windshield. New two sided tape and a little modification and it fits perfect. I actually bought another for our 2017 JK. It fits perfectly in that. Makes wiring all the extras so much easier!!! ... show more

Numerous different fitment problems with the Nilight 6 Gang Rocker Switch 12V Panel that definitely has me feeling buyers remorse and wishing I had just returned it. Power distribution box completely covers up the windshield wiper fluid container if mounted the way the installation video shows. Turned it around so it does not cover the container, only can use two of the mounting slots that way so it is not exactly a solid mounting solution. Also the corner of the box comes in contact with the hood soundproofing so eventually that will rub through. The negative cable is substantially shorter than the postive cable so routing it along the firewall is quite the ordeal to ensure you can hook it up. Ended up extending it about 12" so I had enough cable length to route it properly while still reaching the battery. The actual switch pod mounting is beyond problematic as well and it doesn't even come close to mounting snug against the header. It also interferes with the visor if it is mounted so that it sits somewhat flush against the header. The adhesive tape is also beyond insufficient to hold it so it will need at least a couple of screws to hold it firmly where it belongs. The mounting plate that holds the unit on the footmen loop is also wrong and does not allow the unit to fit snugly against the header as advertised. Will end up having to notch the top of the switch box in order to run my molle panel as well which is beyond frustrating too, especially considering it is metal... definitely a love/hate thing build quality wise. Overall, there are FAR to many fitment issues that required either mounting it opposite of the instructions, getting busy with grinder to ensure that it fits securely and flush with the interior panels, or has enough wire length for them to be routed properly along the firewall and hooked up to the battery. The only positive thing is that both the power distribution box and switch pod housing are made of metal, so they do feel quite substantial and solid. BUT, that is also quite problematic when it comes to making both of them fit properly. I am REALLY not convinced that alone makes it a good value for the money though and have plenty of buyers remorse due to the amount of creative thinking and fabrication required to make it fit properly. A 1 star rating is REALLY a stretch, but a zero star rating is not possible unfortunately. I would really sit with the decision to purchase this though as it will require significant amounts of fabrication and time to get it installed AND look somewhat-ish good in your Jeep. I can not speak to the reliability of the actual switches as of right now, but I am hopeful that Nilight at least got that part of this unit right, time will tell though.
