So far so good! Easy to install and overall pretty bright. I was hoping it would be a little Brighter still but it works for my needs. Bought 3 of them at once. Fast shipping and all hardware included for basic wiring/mounting. I did have one start to flicker like I saw someone else mentioned in a review. I tracked that down to since I wired one of the bars into the high beams on a 2014 Jeep Wrangler what’s happening is the BCM on the Jeep is using the high beam bulb as a daytime running light. It does this by running a smaller amount of voltage to the bulbs so they are dimmer than when they have 12V or more to them. This small voltage is flickering through the provided solenoid and causing the light bar to flicker on/off. As soon as the DRLs turn off the light b stops flickering. However this is NOT a light issue and is purely installer error! Otherwise they seem to be decent lights so far for the price.

Installed in a 2016 F150. Wiring is easy: red to hot black to negative. Where it takes some creativity is finding a way to get the leads into the can for the rocker switch. I drilled a small hole into the firewall and used marine silicone to seal it. Now for the mounts: it comes with the vertical riser mounts, which are fixed at 22.5” spacing on center for the bolts. I bought heavy duty 90 degree shelving braces, bolted them in place using existing bumper attachment bolts and got lucky that the holes lined up perfectly without modification. Obviously everyone else’s application will be different. They don’t include detailed instructions because of this fact, there’s no “one size fits all” application. It will always work as long as you supply the power to it. Best case scenario is that you have a bull bar or similiar to easily center and attach, otherwise you’ll need to get creative. You will need to supply zip ties and one set of male/female ferrules to attach the leads to the light.

Good value for an amber light bar

After hitting a deer in my truck, my metal bumper was replaced, leaving a gap for a lightbar. After searching for about a week, I landed on this lightbar; amber with a close color to the baja designs amber, cheap compared to other models(next closest was ~175$) and was the right size. I ended up buying the relay harness with it for ease of install and wired it up quickly. It fit the hiline bumper cutout perfectly and is bright when paired with my baja designs. Hopefully it will help me from hitting another deer in the future!

Seems well built!

I finally ordered one of these and, so far, I am pleased with my purchase. It is bigger than I thought it would be, the cooling fins are deep. Wiring it up was easy enough. I didn't want to drill any holes to mount the switch so I just have it wedged in between the steering column and dash panel. For my application, the wiring was plenty long enough on both ends. I also mounted it using brackets that I also bought on here.
