I have not yet used this camera. This review is to post some pictures. The camera feels very sturdy and is much larger, in weight, thickness, and length than the A7iii which was a camera I had been mailed previously by amazon. I love this camera but if you don't know cameras this one is not a full frame and isn't going to take award winning photos and since it's not full frame a magazine will have no use for the footage. There are different types of cameras so know what you're wanting in a camera before you spend the money. The claim to fame on this camera is the zoom feature and it's the best you can get in this price or weight range. The picture quality is good the video quality is better but for my use they're perfect. If you want to zoom and that's the most important aspect then buy this camera. ... show more

P1000 great for the price and quality of pictures. But as a kit the remote did not work had to replace with upgraded one. UV filter not high quality replaced with high end filter. But very satisfied with camer. Note it a batter hog if you shoot a lot of pictures.
