I totally love the style of this shoe. So far I've purchased three pair from Amazon. I'm extremely happy with them, they're comfortable, they appear as in the photos and I wear a size 7 1/2 but purchase these in an 8 1/2 and they fit to my liking. My mother saw how happy I am with them and she decided to try on the similar recent style that's out inside the store. She agreed that you have to go up a half size. I know people are having problems with the size. I went up a whole size because I purchased a pair from the Nike outlet store and they didn't have a 7 1/2, but an 8 1/2. I tried them on although they have a little toe room passed my toes, they fit fine and I have room to put on a thicker socks. I believe as a general rule going up at half size should suffice and if you want a little extra room, then go up a whole size; this is from someone who brought the shoes from Amazon and from Nike and they all fit the same on me. ... show more

They are really good, but I returned them because the back of the shoe was very hard, so that everytime I walked I felt it hit the back of my foot. Maybe because my feet are small... not sure but I returned them. I have bought other Nike shoes with the back part being very flexible. In this case it was not. I really expected a perfect product Amazon, has me spoiled. I also found the same shoe 20 dollars cheaper, I dont mind paying more, but having to go thru the trouble of using an old wooden shoe stretcher, and I have used it in 25 years , like i said the internet has spoiled me, hope it goes better next time, delivery was great. ... show more

This is my third pair of Nike Free 5.0. They are my favorite sprinting shoes. In addition to the flexibility of the sole, I love that the heel portion of the shoe does not dig into my achilles tendon as do many other shoes. This allows me to put in reasonable mileage per week and to wear the shoes under many circumstances. I have even taken these shoes to the top of Colorado 14ers and they were no worse for the wear even under very rocky and jagged terrain. The shoes performed well in the mountains and hugged the rock in a natural capacity. Lateral movement is fantastic and I have walked stairs with up to 100 lbs on my back without feeling unsafe. Lateral movement improvements have to do with the fact that the shoe does not slide off my foot as other shoes have in the past. ... show more

Girl, honestly - I was a little hesitant on this purchase since it is from a third party seller, but who can pass up on this price for Nike's!? I am usually a size 6 in Nike shoes, but reviews told me to size a half size up because roshe's run a bit smaller than normal. Ended up fitting quite well! My only complaints for these shoes are the insoles. TRASH! Literally cardboard! And it's a little wide on the pinky toe side, but nothing too unbearable. I'd recommend. 9/10! ... show more
