I don’t run marathons but i have a bad hip and these shoes are well worth the money. Amazing support, great fit and wearing them has greatly reduced my hip pain. Very impressed, and the color is gorgeous.

I wore this to work every day for 5 months, walking 4-8miles a day as a mail carrier. They got soaking wet and dried with a fan at least 5 times. I’m very impressed with how well they held up. And (maybe because all black) didn’t look very old. After 4 months the foam insoles began falling out and at 5 months my toes started digging a “hole” on the inside while the bottoms wore away. Was so impressed how they held up for so long I bought another pair. My first impression was: Very tight, after wearing for a while it becomes uncomfortable. Can’t loosen it up like other shoes because of the band. I’m not a wide shoe wearer either, I have narrow feet to start and they’re still tight. But I guess after wearing them a lot They broke in more and I didn’t notice it anymore, but it took a while. Would definitely buy again (and did). ... show more

    • Bought specifically for the elastic strap, here’s why.
I am a runner, and a Zumba dancer. I like this shoe for the exact fact that it has laces AND the elastic band. I tie the laces to the specific tightness I need for the sport I’m doing, and then tuck the laces right in. Think of it as a lace lock. If I run, the laces aren’t bouncing on my foot and that helps keep me in the zone when I’m running. If I take Zumba, I don’t have to worry about a misstep making my laces come undone and tripping. Lord knows I’m not watching my feets when the Zumba comes on. This shoe design virtually guarantees that the lace tuck will lock your laces in place. I've been wearing Nikes for years and wanted a style for aerobic dance classes that allowed flexibility while providing support. These are the sneakers!
