My son just had to have these shoes even though the newer style was quite a bit cheaper. I bit the bullet and ordered them and they are good quality shoes that look good as well. Still irritated that they are more expensive than the newer style but he loves them and that’s what matters. I’d say they may run a half size to a size small. unfortunately, although there are very good things to talk about when referencing this shoe, there is just too much space in the toe box to recommend this shoe to anyone but the widest of footers. if you go true to size, you will notice this immediately upon putting on the shoe. if you go down half a size, your toes will most likely be right up against the toe of the shoe. there is no middle ground. i cannot recommend this shoe for any purpose. ... show more
