I bought this shoe for running, and it worked pretty well. The box was damaged when it arrived, but the shoe itself was in good condition. It was very comfortable as well. However, they are not a good fit if you plan on running competitively. They are relatively heavy compared to racing shoes, and they are not good for running at top speed. I love the look of these shoes and the fit. The problem is that when I wear them for longer than half a day, they start to squeak. The more the day goes on, the louder the squeak gets, in both shoes! I've tried the cornstarch method and it works for a very short time, and then squeak, squeak, squeak! I expect a lot more from Nike. I'm going to spend a little more money and see if I can replace the insoles to try and stop the noise. It's really unfortunate. If they didn't sing to me all day long, I would give them a much higher rating. UPDATE: I did remove the insoles that came with the shoes and replaced them with a pair I bought on Amazon. The existing insoles are glued in so I had to use a hairdryer to heat them up to loosen the glue and allow me to pry them out. I have worn the shoes with the replacement insoles for two straight days now and no squeaking. Sad it had to come down to this. Nike should be better, especially for what I paid for them. ... show more
