I walk in these shoes with my Dalmation and my feet never hurt when we are done on the trails. They are good looking shoes and clean up well. Definitely a good buy!

I have a problem with a hip--unless I have really good cushioning, I develop hip pain. I've found the solution is to order about 3-4 pair of Niki shoes, which generally have better heal cushioning than most athletic shoes, then keep the single pair with the best heal cushioning. This particular model--Niki Air Max Pre Day--have the best cushioning of any I've ever gotten. In fact, I got an extra pair just to have them ready when my present ones wear out. A warning: the heal cushioning is so extreme that some people probably wouldn't prefer it, but for me it's exactly what I want. BTW--I'm always worried when I order new Nikis that they won't fit, but they always do. Niki never changes it's shoe sizes. ... show more

I really wanted to love these. The Air Max Pre-Day line is my absolute favorite Nike shoe for my general every day sneaker. They're super comfortable and lightweight but this is the first pair I've had any issues with. The main issue is that the listing says they're black but they are in fact navy blue. This is probably more of an Amazon issue than a Nike issue. The other point I'll mention is the tongue is very different looking than the others I've purchased. It's a thicker yellow foam which honestly just looks cheap and throws off the whole aesthetic. I probably could've lived with that but I paid $178 for a size 10 which was more than I was hoping to spend anyway, but I felt confident based on my previous experience. They really just missed the mark on this one. I didn't put them on but I'm sure they're comfortable. Just not what I thought I was getting based on the description. ... show more
