  • Comfortable boots.
Size: 9 Color: Black/Black
Ramp work. Hell of a boot. I got mine @ ROSS 69$. I regret not getting all the size 11’s. 🥺

  • Why not a metal eyelet on top?
Size: 10.5 Color: Coyote/Coyote
Over all I like these boots. They are a bit tight in the heel, but I fortunately have not had the issues others have had with blisters. My primary complaint is with the leather eyelets. Both top most eyelets on my right boot have ripped through. The left doesn't seem far behind.

  • Great Boots
Size: 10.5 Color: Coyote/Coyote
I've had my boots for almost three months now. I love the way they felt out of the box. I did get blisters in the beginning. I know with 100% certainty it was just my feet acclimating to a new boot with different pressure points. What I really love about them was the price. I paid $129.00 for mine at Tactical Gear. ... show more

  • Prepare for blisters
Size: 10.5 Color: Coyote/Coyote
This review is coming after having owned these boots for a solid 8+ months, of nearly daily wear, and several ruck marches. Pros: super light weight, outstanding traction in any terrain, excellent ankle support in all the right places, DOES NOT allow your ankles to roll at all (I’m prone to this in most shoes/boots). Cons: your blisters will get blisters (literally, this last ruck I had 3 on top of each other, that sucked), takes a while to lace up due to the leather eyelets (but this also allows the boots to stay nice and snug, so it’s a pro too), does not allow for good ventilation on long ruck marches, the heel cup design and material is prone to causing severe blisters right on the Achilles’ tendon, and finally now that they’ve had a few months of wear and tear and are as broken in as anyone could ask, there’s too much room in the toe box allowing for movement, which creates blisters on the balls of the feet. To start with, I have very mixed feelings about this boot. I love that they are light weight, I love how they felt broken in right out of the box, I love that they felt like a top tier running shoe, and I love that the laces don’t seem to come undone when I wear them. BUT, I can’t love the boot itself, because on the last two 12 mile ruck marches I have developed severe blisters from these boots. The first time it was the back of my heel, and that one was so bad that there was no skin left and it was just openly bleeding into the boot (my green Fox River sock (highly recommended) was soaked red), and this second time my blisters developed blisters, which developed blisters. If you are considering these boots for daily wear, be warned that these are absolutely NOT good for rucking, and are NOT good for the field. Only office work where a flashy boot will start conversations, and convince poor privates to buy a worthless piece of field equipment. ... show more

  • They will hurt your Achilles tendon area
Size: 10.5 Color: Coyote/Coyote
Every review I’ve read about this boot is real day 5 of wearing them and my Achilles’ tendon is swollen hurts to walk on light office duties , week three my tendon is bleeding from just walking to defac tried to go to the store UStactical to have them changed and told me that since I’ve used They can’t receive them even if it hurts my performance as a soldier They said that I have to ship them out to Nike themselves so they look good and good traction but I would stay away from these and go for garmont lightweight or rocky light tactical ... show more

  • Worst boots I’ve ever worn.
Size: 10.5 Color: Coyote/Coyote
If you absolutely hate having an Achilles’ tendon, these are the boots for you. Pros: Very lightweight and great grip for rope climbing in the arch. Cons: Will slice your feet off. I’m a grunt and very used to breaking in boots. I’m on month three of attempting to “break these in”. The heel is sewn in such a way that it creates a very hard edge that doesn’t wear down. I double padded up on moleskin for a 4-mile ruck and was bleeding before I even hit the four mile mark. VA disability claim to follow. ... show more

  • Blisters in Achilles heel area
Size: 10.5 Color: Coyote/Coyote
Likes: in normal width this boot is wider than most boots across the balls of the feet, which is perfect for me. Lacing is great, and the boots felt great with one exception. I felt a bit of tightness in my left Achilles area, but figured it'd be fine. It isn't fine, my left boot has torn me up, blister and rub area on my left Achilles big time. I have minimal walking in them. I'm not a field guy anymore, and have gotten a bad blister simply walking doing light office work. ... show more

  • Ripped Eyelet
Size: 10.5 Color: Coyote/Coyote
Wore the boots for 4 hours one day, no major field work at all. Went to lace them up the second day and a leather eyelet ripped in half trying to tighten the laces.
