As stated this is a running shoe and the fitment for such is just right. Not too tight and not too loose to your true size. Usually shoe lace system are overlooked but I have to give credit to this shoe as tying these shoes feels good and I haven't had to re-tie then as they do not come loose.     • You Need This Shoe!
The Nike running shoes arrived on time and in perfect condition. The fit is true to size and is a comfortable fit. The shoe material is flexible and attractive. I'm very satisfied with this purchase!

    • Very misleading
So I bought these the other week, as they looked good and were at a perfect price point. I'm not one for $100 and up sneakers. They arrive, look great but felt a bit snugger than i like. I'm not really one to return clothes so i figure i'll live with 'em. I go to order a second pair in a different color and a half size higher, why do I find out that the description was WRONG, they're actually women's sneakers! I was ticked off but the wife took them so it worked out. I suppose that's why they were snug, shaped for a woman's foot. Please change your heading to say "womens"! ... show more

I bought a pair of these shoes for our trip to France this past summer to walk around in. They held up great and I felt fine after a long day of walking and standing while seeing the sites.     • Big Disappointment for me
I've worn and loved Nike shoes for years! Flex 2015, 2016, 2018 – Love em! But these Downshifters are a big disappointment. IMHO, terrible design. Laces are difficult to lace and unlace. Where Flex soles are convex and round at the edges, these soles are like that of a steam iron, like wearing a flat sheet of plywood. The edges are sharp 90° corners; toes tend to drag on the foot pushing off; heels tend to drag on foot stepping forward. These shoes pulled my ankle socks immediately down under my arches. Also they tend to let little rocks jump in. For me, these Downshifters will be one (wearing) and done (tossed into the back of the closet in the “don't ever wear again” archives. They tarnish Nike's bright image. Sorry, but that's my experience with them. ... show more
