This is my son's second pair of these shoes for the school year. His first got very dirty pretty easily and worn with holes in the main part of both shoes. I can usually get shoes washed up pretty nicely, but this material made it more difficult. He attributed the holes forming due to the shoes not coming in wide and those areas having more friction with his feet. I bought these shoes for my 13-year-old son, who typically wears a size 9. However, I found that this particular brand runs smaller than expected, leaving him feeling quite snug in the shoes.
