Huge tears in the box, it was very dented. They were in a very large external box with other items that were soft and undamaged, which tells me that this box was destroyed wherever it came from. Then, upon opening the box, I could smell not clean new shoe smell, but a faint foot smell. When looking at the soles, the instep had a horizontal crease which shoes get when walked in. They look great but it runs the ball of my foot because of the design. But I got insoles just for my heels. Now they work fine. Don't really recommend unless you're okay with wearing insoles.
