I absolutely love these kicks. I bought em as soon as I saw em - it was back in June of 2019, was shoppin for a replacement for the UA sandals that my dog chewed up, and while browsing the shoe section at O****** S***** I saw these beauties on display. Havin just about every major line of sneaker nike makes, from air max 95s, air force 1s, Jordans, Shox, Cortez, Lebrons, and so on - the 270s were a necessary fill to my collection. I loved em so much, I did like Nelly said and "got me two pair", one for the case and one to wear. I can honestly say that today, in Late January of 2024, the wear pair are still in great condition. I hand wash them and only wear them in the late spring, summer- and only on dry days. That's not to say I baby em - while wearing em, I walk, jog, and run (if I'm being chased) they are the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn, and they've got absolutely no signs of wear on the soles nor typical areas of breakdown e.g. the toe box crease and curl, the heel and toe scuff and separation points, and the fade or discoloration- especially given the light gray mesh- although that's one thing that is different - these here show a white midsole, but they're not- at least they weren't- the grey goes all the way down to meet the darker grey midsole and sole- and the other change is the smaller nike swoosh, its red here not black like mine, And i just saw the loop on the back of the top, not there in the original, nor are the laces white white white and red eyeles, they're grey with red eyelets, Man- the more I look at yhe two i see the difference- mine are lighter gray and red mesh that go to darker grey midsoles- these are darker grey upper and white midsole. Same otherwise- but I wonder why these look so different... I think I mentioned that I bought 2 pairs - I also saw them on many feet and in every single store I went to for the year... I'm a full blown sneaker pimp- sneaker head / sneaker addict whatever... I know these things. I even designed the 270 trail max of 2022... 1 of the mens and 2 of the women's color schemes. That app is addicting and fun - never thought I'd get my name on a major line that happens to be a cousin of my favorite. Exception is the 270 Cactus* nasty looking and at 700 plus for my size, I'm str8 homie... Anyway -- I mentioned the cleaning - sure, I hand wash wish warm water and dawn dish soap with a simple cloth - but I only had to do that twice- and the 1st time was because I was wearing them ( abt 2 weeks in roughly) when I left the house, and I wound up meeting up with a dime from the southside- next thing I knew it was a month later, I was in a different state with old gang fam livin like I was 15 again and on 1, or 2- k maybe more like every night, we was 2cupped wit them orange Teslas, which apparently made me not care bout the mud puddles and grime I was walking in as I was creepin throug-- moving sideways in the alley to the cut- also careless about the durt pathway that cuts thru the park on the way back to the trap. So that was my badd. I had to scrub them pretty good to get them back to the condition they're in today. 4 & a half years later. See the pic I'll post up 4 yall. Side note - I just came up to my suite from the pool, and it's January in NY. So despite the shorts, I'm not actually so light skinned... i look like wonder bread meets a ritz and has a saltine baby... lololol this is totally gettin snagged in the filters and never seeing the light of your eyes... PS I know this aint gonna say verified purchase - cuhz aint copped mines here, but believe me, I got a blue check - lots of em. I also can't believe I typed in nike air max 270 men's 2019 and BOOM seen my kicks on here -- with the exception of all the differences in the pictures on here- they different in reality-- unless they have changed - but if so, why? and HOW don't I know about it?!?? OH yeeah! Size up like half to one size to get your fit str8. Aiiight then. Recommended? BET. Worth the tag compared to 2019? FoSho my n***** Say less--Think about the inflation in the past 5 years. Buy em, these kicks are fire.
