Exactly what my son wanted

I don't understand the hype with these shoes. I picked these up because I was in need of some new shoes and my kids and their friends always commented how my Adida's (which happen to look very similar to these) looked just like Nike Roshe's which I didn't even know what they were at the time. These shoes are horrible. The top of the shoe is paper thin, its as thick as cloth on a polo shirt, much thinner that any Nike I have ever owned before. The material is VERY breathable because its so thin, but doesn't look like it will last long. The tongue is the most flimsy tongue I have ever encountered on a shoe and serve's almost no purpose. The shoe string is more like very thin shoe rope. It's like the very think hard rope you find on some dress shoes. Its not the standard shoe string you find on most tennis shoes. The shoes are also very narrow. I wear a size 12 mens and my feet were squished in these shoes. My big toe poked out of the top and the little tow side bulged out the other side. They also were not that comfortable to walk on, they didn't feel like they gave much in the soles either. I think I will stick to Nike Air shoes myself, these simply do not work for me. ... show more

Lasted only about a month or so and the front part of the foot had a big tear in it. Very disappointed. Should last longer!
