  • Effective Night Driving Glasses, Practical at $20 for Two
TL;DR: $20 is okay for two pairs, but I’d prefer something more stylish. These yellow polarized glasses reduce headlight glare but aren’t cool. Includes pouch, screwdriver kit, cloth, and polarized test card. I received this product for free through Amazon Vine. ================================================= This review is for the Night Vision Glasses for Men Women Anti Glare Polarized Night Vision Driving Glasses With Glasses Cloth, a functional set of two pairs designed to improve nighttime driving visibility. At $20, it’s a reasonable price for two pairs, though the plain design lacks style. The yellow polarized lenses effectively reduce headlight glare, enhancing road clarity, and the set includes a pouch, screwdriver kit, cleaning cloth, and polarized test card for added value. While not fashionable, these glasses prioritize function, making them a solid choice for safety-conscious drivers. I tested these glasses during a nighttime road trip, and the difference was noticeable. The listing describes them as anti-glare polarized glasses, and the yellow tint significantly cut down on headlight glare from oncoming traffic, making it easier to see road signs and lane markers. I drove through a rural area with bright LED headlights coming my way, and the glasses reduced eye strain, improving my focus over a two-hour drive. The polarized test card confirmed the lenses’ quality, showing clear polarization effects when rotated. The frames, however, are basic plastic, lacking the sleek look of pricier brands. They’re lightweight but feel utilitarian, not stylish, which might disappoint those wanting a fashionable accessory. The included pouch is tight for both pairs, making storage a bit awkward, but the screwdriver kit and cloth were useful for adjusting screws and cleaning smudges after handling. I used the second pair for a passenger to test, and they reported similar glare reduction during a city drive with heavy traffic lights. At $20 for two pairs, the price is competitive—single pairs of similar glasses often cost $15–$20. The listing is accurate about the anti-glare feature and included accessories, but could mention the frame’s plain aesthetic to set expectations. These glasses are perfect for drivers who prioritize safety over style, such as commuters, delivery drivers, or anyone navigating poorly lit roads. You could keep one pair in your car and another at home, or share with a family member for shared vehicles. The lack of style and tight pouch are minor drawbacks, but the glare reduction and included extras make these glasses a practical and effective choice for night driving. ... show more

  • Two pair, different frame colors, good for driving at night, dusk, twilight or cloudy rainy days
The Kunchu Night Vision glasses are good to use during really dark nights or dark cloudy or dark cloudy & rainy or stormy weather. They assist in adding clearer vision during times when it's dark due to limited light or too bright of headlights. These will reduce the glare of most headlights. They also can assist in or at least they seem to make objects appear more clear. The yellow lenses also help with blue light from headlights & street lights. I ordered & received the two pair combo. One has a matte black frame with the yellow anti-glare lenses & the other has a semi-translucent tortoise shell frame with the same type of lenses. They do fit over most prescription glasses that do not have oversized frames. Like my sister has a pair of small cat-eye frames & they are plenty big enough to go over them without resting on them. The glasses came in a box together. There was also a little lense cleaning cloth, a pull tight bag to put one pair of the glasses in (I did try to place both inside & it wasn't possible), as well as a tiny card with a partially visible drawing on it. The card is included so you can place the lense of the glasses over it to fill in the rest of the drawing. If it does - it's going to be a yellowish color - but it will prove that they are High Definition (HD) lenses. ... show more

  • Helpful to day and night vision
The sunglasses give a pleasant reduction in the sun's glare, and they are polarized. They seem equivalent to the common polarized sunglasses that I have worn over the years, and they are found very acceptable. The yellow tinted ones were an education for me, because I was not sure about how glasses like these could be very helpful at night. As it turned out, they seem to function to good effect in two ways. One is that, being tinted, they do slightly reduce the intensity of light that hits the eyes while driving, although particularly intense light does still get through to hurt the eyes. The second effect is that the yellow tint reduces blue in the view of the road, and that makes the observation more generally comfortable, as well as somewhat clearer in shadows. For one thing, it is less irritating when the lenses eliminate the clash of headlights and other lights that vary between gentle yellow and stark blue or white, turning the whole view into a more relaxing warm tone. Also, white and blue light make it somewhat hard to see details within shadowy areas, leaving things quite dark and high in contrast against what is lit. Since, to some degree, the difference between yellow and white or blue light is informative to every situation, one should take a little time to get used to the input that these night glasses suppress. Meanwhile, I find that these night glasses do pleasantly warm the view and reduce the harshness of what is seen in night driving. In terms of physical construction, these glasses seem quite sturdy. Although they can be used over other glasses, the fit over the bridge of the nose may not be entirely comfortable in this use, although it is not uncomfortable. When used without other glasses, the fit seems quite comfortable. ... show more

  • Comfortable effective, fits over glasses well
They fit well over regular prescription glasses without bumping or rubbing, though that might not hold true for larger or abnormally shaped glasses. They're pretty light and comfortable, with soft rubber covers over the tips that hold them in place well. They also seem sturdy enough, though lenses are fairly loosely held in, and can pop out when dropped. It's easy enough to snap them back in if this happens, and doesn't seem to cause any lasting issue. They came with a card with a pattern only visible through polarized lenses to verify the polarization, as well as a microfiber cloth and a little keychain screwdriver with a head that fits the small screws on the underside of the hinges, though they're screwed in tight enough I can't imagine needing it for quite some time. ... show more
