I'm sewing these on to make roman shades which has been a tedious process, but I love how sturdy these are. Plastic rings were recommended, but I feel like these are a better option so I can sew them on well the first time and hopefully never have to replace them. These are exactly as shown.... good buy... I recommend metal over plastic unless you have salt-water/rust problems.
