  • Best entry level sim rig
After weeks of research I was looking for an entry level cockpit that wouldn’t take up to much space. I had a few options in mind but ultimately winded up pulling the trigger on this one. Not many reviews out on this rig because of how new it is but the few I did find helped me out. It’s to early on to give a full review but so far it has been rock solid. I was pleasantly surprised to see how sturdy it is. I was hesitant because there is no extra supports on the wheel base deck but it’s much more rigid than I imagined. I’m sure those flange nuts and the tucked metal under the wheel base plate have a lot to do with it. Assembly was very approachable and the hardware provided is pre greased and tools are provided. The bolt indicator card was a nice touch. Keep in mind this an entry level set up so you can’t expect it to be as solid as an aluminum profile rig. That being said this is an excellent choice for the money because you will be hard pressed to find something better. I’m currently using a moza r3 base and will be upgrading to an r12 down the line. In my opinion it will handle the advertised 10nm wheel bases. Also the pedal plate and wheelbase plate both have a generous amount of pre drilled mounting holes. Hope this helps someone! Update: I put the moza r12 wheelbase on there and it works like a charm. No noticeable flex when in use. Only think I can think of is extra support on the wheelbase plate for extra stiffness but other than that you get what you pay for here! ... show more

  • Perfect middle ground between foldable rig and solid rig
Just like the other reviewer, I bought this specific cockpit because of its unadvertised capability of being a semi-foldable rig. NLR should really use this as a selling point. I am downsizing from a diy profile rig due to some life changes, and I knew I would never be happy with the current foldable options on the market coming from that. The Victory fits the bill perfectly. I’m able to have a sturdy rig, but 6 bolts and two pins later it folds flat enough that I’m able to hang it out of site in the closet when we have guests. That said, there are some compromises. Adjustability is adequate but more limited than other options, it’s not as rigid as my old profile rig, there is some flex in the seat, wheel stand, and pedal plate, the seat is fine, but not the most comfortable. But it is still better in all of those aspects than any other foldable cockpit on the market, and in the same price range as well. Next Level Racing really unintentionally knocked it out of the park with this one. If you don’t need a foldable rig, I’d recommend something else, but if you have limited space for your sim racing setup, the Victory is a hard one to beat. ... show more

  • Best Entry Level Cockpit
I use this rig with my Logitech G923 and it is great. Coming from a NLR Wheel Stand 2.0 is a game changer. I leave mine set up but you can easily fold it down and put it in a closet somewhere if you need to. It is also narrow enough to squeeze through doorways. Better than any fold-out cockpit in my opinion but also don't have to break the bank and have a large footprint as full-on cockpit. ... show more

  • Perfect entry level rig
Upgraded to this from the GT Lite Pro. Works great for my 8nm GT DD Pro. Much more stable than a folding setup. Only real con is there's some flex in the pedal plate, but it isn't too bad even with a load cell.

  • Foldable mod
Though it’s not advertised you can mod this rig to be (more easily) foldable by simply swapping out the 6 bottom M8 bolts with 6 M8x16mm thumb knobs. This allows the upright wheelbase support to fold down over the pedal base. The seat back has two locking pins that when removed allow the seat to fold down as well. It is still foldable either way, but you will need a hex wrench to loosen the bolts each time you want to fold it. ... show more
