    • This is a really good entry level cockpit
Disclaimer: I upgraded to this cockpit from a "wheel is mounted on the desk and I'm sitting on an office chair" setup. I'm using this with a Fanatec CSL wheelbase and clubsport pedals V3. I was a bit skeptical first, afterall it's an "entry level" cockpit. But actually I am extremely happy with it. It is very sturdy. The mounts for the wheel base and the pedals have a variety of mounting holes. The only drawback was that it only had two mounting holes fitting the 3 screws for my Fanatec CSL wheelbase, but even with only two screws it's very sturdy. Installation is easy and the instructions are very good. They ship it with lots of extra bolts, which is very nice. And there are many pre-drilled mounting points for you to add your own additions (shifters, handbrakes, mousepad, etc.). The chair is comfortable and easy to slide forward and backward. The backreast does not tilt (after all this is entry level), but it has just the right angle for me. No noticeable flex when driving.     • Definitely the best bang for the buck entry level cockpit out there
I wanted to get back into sim racing after a 5 year hiatus and happened to see this new rig. I'm really glad I did because this is the best budget rig with an included seat I've ever seen. The quality is more than adequate though it did arrive pretty greasy in the box. Installation was quick and super easy as there's only a few pieces to bolt together. I'm 6ft 190lbs and found the seat and available adjustments to be adequate and was able to get comfortable enough. Installing caster wheels is a life changer. It really makes it so nice to move around for easy setup and storage. The caster wheels to get are 2 inch M8 15 mm caster wheels from here on Amazon. Just make sure to get 6 wheels. A couple downsides I ran into though they're mostly personal gripes: There are no pre-drilled holes for the old Fanatec ClubSport wheel bases. I'm rather surprised they didn't have any holes for the old ClubSport wheels as they have a really wide selection of pre-drilled holes already made in the wheel base plate. There is some flex in the pedal plate. However, this was only really noticeable to me because I use some heavy duty HPP Simulation hydraulic pedals. The flex was easily remedied though with a quick trip to Home Depot to get a couple pieces of wood and I just bolted the pedals to the wood to provide support. This pretty much fixed the flex issue. All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase. This thing is just an absolutely perfect product for the price. It even comes with a shifter/handbrake mount with no extra charge. ... show more

Great for the money, it is solid and has held up to constant use from kids and adults. Assembly is time consuming and annoying, but not overly difficult. Screws tend to come loose over time.

After weeks of research I was looking for an entry level cockpit that wouldn’t take up to much space. I had a few options in mind but ultimately winded up pulling the trigger on this one. Not many reviews out on this rig because of how new it is but the few I did find helped me out. It’s to early on to give a full review but so far it has been rock solid. I was pleasantly surprised to see how sturdy it is. I was hesitant because there is no extra supports on the wheel base deck but it’s much more rigid than I imagined. I’m sure those flange nuts and the tucked metal under the wheel base plate have a lot to do with it. Assembly was very approachable and the hardware provided is pre greased and tools are provided. The bolt indicator card was a nice touch. Keep in mind this an entry level set up so you can’t expect it to be as solid as an aluminum profile rig. That being said this is an excellent choice for the money because you will be hard pressed to find something better. I’m currently using a moza r3 base and will be upgrading to an r12 down the line. In my opinion it will handle the advertised 10nm wheel bases. Also the pedal plate and wheelbase plate both have a generous amount of pre drilled mounting holes. Hope this helps someone! Update: I put the moza r12 wheelbase on there and it works like a charm. No noticeable flex when in use. Only think I can think of is extra support on the wheelbase plate for extra stiffness but other than that you get what you pay for here! ... show more

    • Great Entry Level Cockpit For Apartments/Mobility
I use the Fanatec Gran Turismo DD Pro kit on it (8 NM) and I find the wheel/pedal flex to be very minor and not impactful on race performance. This cockpit is very quick to assemble/disassemble, which is why I feel that it is excellent for apartments or other cases where mobility is important. I previously had an NLR F-GT cockpit and I found the points of adjustability to be poor and the seat to be uncomfortable. This $200 cheaper cockpit has a much more comfortable seat, more intelligent points of adjustability, and is incredibly solid for its total weight of somewhere around 65-70lbs. ... show more

Tremendous "budget" sim rig, good build quality and easy to assemble, I love the seat slider as well as the seat build quality. For a rig of this price point im shocked at the quality of the entire package. 10/10 highly recommend if you need a rig under $500 this is as far as you need to look. My only "nitpick" is that the shifter placement is too low, if you use a logitech g series wheel, the shifter placement feels a little unnatural but that could change depending on what peripherals your using. ... show more

    • Buyer beware of missing hardware!
Box was missing quite a bit of hardware to finish setting up. I ended up needing purchase additional M8 threaded screws and nuts. Most importantly of those was the missing nuts (and the wrench that goes along with them), which DID NOT allow me to bolt in the seat until I purchased additional hardware myself. I reached out to Next Level Racing support. They got back to me requesting information after the initial email, but ceased any contact after I replied. Additionally, the actual product came scratched all over the place. This is not the end of the world as it does not effect functionality, however, for $300, I would expect this to come without any damage or scratches. I also found issues with the instructions from step one. THe first step tells you to unfold the product and it should have come with four M8 bolts connecting two pieces of the frame. This was not the case for me, which I'm guessing resulted in SOME of the missing hardware, as I had to screw them in myself. The issue was not that I had screw in those bolts myself, but rather the fact the the instructions from step 1 were misleading, or someone straight from the factory forgot to do this step, which is again disappointing for the price. This issue leads me to two other issues I had. In order to connect those two (mentioned) pieces, it took a lot of finagling. This was the case with almost all screws/bolts on this thing. The threading and tolerances ARE NOT GOOD. Many times during setup, I had pull and push just in order to have screw holes line up. Once they were lined up, more often then not, attempting to thread in the screws/bolts left me feeling like I was going to strip the hole. I often had to take the screw out entirely, line it up again, apply a perfect amount of pressure and pray that I don't strip the hole. One additional note is that shipping was delayed, which I can't fault next level racing, or the actual store page of this product (it's an amazon problem that I'm constantly experiencing with them), it did still play into the overall purchase experience, which was sub par. It's quite a shame. Once this unit is fully built, it's solid quality and feels good to use. I don't really have any complaints about the ergonomics or functionality, but the whole build process, misleading instructions, missing parts/tools, lack of customer support communication, damage/scratches, and poor tolerances/threadings forces me to pull the product rating down a few stars. I'm normally not a person to review a product, but I figured this would be a good "buyer beware" review and I felt an obligation to let others know what to expect. The only reason this is not at two stars is because all the pain and suffering still beats using a racing setup on my desk by miles. ... show more

    • If your looking for a solid budget cockpit, this is the one. Ignore the foldables.
If you are debating between the wheelstand lite 2.0 to upgrade in the future and this, just save the $50 and get this. Awesome budget cockpit. Definitely a huge upgrade from a desk set up. Makes it more enjoyable to use the g920. I do think the shifter sits a bit low, but I got a 7 inch shift knob for the g920 and that works great. Lots of customizability, and great build quality. There's a little bit of front to back movement if you really try, but it's not noticable at all. I may end up seeing if I can use some ratchet straps to tighten the wheel base to the seat to make it more stable, but it's honestly not necessary. The instructions were super simple to follow, and everything was accounted for and packaged nicely. Came with a nice little lanyard too. Overall, I am super happy with this purchase. I'll definitely be buying from next level racing again. ... show more
