This chain is lovely and very strong. The clasp is solid, and feels much more secure than other chains I've had in the past. I tugged on the chain while holding it on either side of the clasp, and it did not budge. I think this one will last. This does not feel cheaply made, as you would think from the price. It is better than decent quality. I purchased 28 inch, 1.5mm. The chain fits over my head (and my head is pretty big - xl motorcycle helmet size) without having to unclasp it, and there's a good inch or two of extra room while taking on and off so it doesn't mess up my hair. Could probably go 26 inches and still put off and on without unclasping if desired. The extra room for taking on and off without wrecking my hair causes the chain to hang pretty low - pretty much right at the bottom of the sternum on me (female). But I like it there. If you want something sitting at the top of your cleavage or mid-sternum, go with 24". As far as thickness, the 1.5mm is thin enough to fit through most bails and thick enough that it does not break when I tug on it pretty firmly. If you want your charm or pendant to have all the attention, the 1.5mm is thin enough for that while also very sturdy. If you're looking for a chain which can stand alone, I'd go with the next size up, 2.5mm. It also arrived quickly. Was loose in a "ziplock" jewelry bag inside a velvet bag, and packed in a large padded envelope. Could have tangled, but didn't. For the price, I wasn't bothered by the chain not coming in a jewelry box. Very happy with this purchase.

I ordered the 16" length in 3mm (perfect casual width). I wanted a silver just like the gold I bought elsewhere. However..., I should have measured before ordering because my beloved gold chain (also 3mm) is 18" (actually 17-5/8"). It sits at the perfect spot, between my collar bones, that divet where they meet. When I pulled this necklace out of the bag (16", actually 16-3/16") I instantly knew I messed up. It's a tad shorter than I prefer and I will need to order it in 18". Still, I'm already making excellent use of the 16" I got. Works well with lots of things. Just cautioning you all to measure a necklace in your possession that falls perfectly and order that size. Don't assume based on an online illustration. Now, the necklace. I recently began tackling all the old stuff in my jewelry boxes that have sat for a decade or more. Most pieces got tossed (there's no cleaning tarnished and/or faded costume jewelry) but during the experience I educated myself about quality and quasi-quality jewelry and learned one thing: When it comes to white metals, sterling silver with a protective coating (like rhodium) is the best way to go. Silver is a brighter metal, the coating makes it brighter still - and as long as the coating is intact there's no tarnishing. The coating used on this chain was one I'd never heard of until I Googled it (I take no chances anymore). Turns out, the coating used on this chain is a superior coating, respected in the industry, so I ordered. I cannot describe how bright white and... glamorous this chain is. It's intensely dazzling and sparkles like mad. It's really alive and beautiful. Pay attention to the cleaning instructions listed here. I know I will. Just remember to MEASURE before guessing wrong. I will order the 18". I predict I will be ordering more pieces from this seller if they have the coating, because tarnish sucks. Yeah, I recommend the necklaces. Beautiful.

Absolutely stunning chain! In fact I loved the first one I purchased that I bought 2 more! All three are solid, heavy chains. Every detain from the chain itself to the clasp & end tabs are high quality. I wear 2 custom made sterling pendants that were not only very expensive but more than that, are very special to me & it is highly important that the chains they're on are safe & of course beautiful. I feel 100% confident wearing them on these chains. I purchased an 18" 1.5mm round box with rhodium that I'll be using as part of a gift. As well as an 18" 1.5mm rope, and a 20" 2mm miami curb, both with PROLUX finish. And those are the two I am wearing with my two pendants. All three chains are exactly the same in terms of quality & beauty. I also make sterling jewelry so I have seen a wide range of quality from the best to the worst & am very picky with the quality of the pieces I work with & wear. These guys chains are some of the best I've seen & am considering seeing if I can purchase some chains for some of the pendants & charms I make & sell. No matter which style chain u choose, u can feel confident u are getting a high quality chain. He even sends a nice black velvet pouch with each chain. Very nice touch! I am only disappointed I didn't get the thicker one. This is a beautiful necklace. While not getting to many complements about it I notice I am getting a lot of double takes. This thing just shines. At first it's does seem a little to shinny and almost fake. I can understand some of the people rushing to judge and say that but then I bet if you look at what they currently own you can see how this just has the wow factor their jewelry is probably old and not clean. You get used to it after awhile and almost can't wait to wake up and see that shine. The sturdyness is there. I'm a big guy. 6 ft 325 and I need something that's going to withstand the tug and snags I put to it everyday. So far it's withstood. I bought a cheap cross with a pre set drill hole the chain would go thru. I bought the 3mm necklace and it fit just fine. The company as a whole... I think some time should be spent on talking about them. As soon as purchased before delivery you are gretted with a welcome email totally making you feel like you bought into something more then just a necklace but into a family where you can turn to for future needs. They are either media master minds or they have an excellent PR company. Very nice touch. The packaging is something to be desired. It's like giving you all the pieces of the puzzle but not putting it together for you. Just all the right stuff thrown in a bag. But I get it they have to keep cost low so they have to cut costs some place. Plus the product speaks for itself. The follow up emails are an even better touch. That's when they really turn on the charm. And a few weeks later they send you a 50% off coupon to your next purchase of their top sellers. It's makes up for my bad decision in getting a too thin of a necklace because now I have an opportunity to get the right one at the right price and still keep the one I have that I could afford. I'm didn't say I didn't like it I just wanted more bling. Overall top notch company for a working mans budget. I will definitely be doing more shopping with them. Thank you.

Very sparkly! Smooth, doesn't scratch. I bought 22" and it hangs just wear I llike it. 3mm chain is strong enough to hold a pendant, but not too big. Grat price for .925 silver! If you're thinking about it, do it now!

I was scrolling through past purchased products and I came across this necklace I bought for my (at the time) 13yo son. I wanted to stop and leave a review because now 4 yrs later he is still wearing this! It looks just as good as the day I bought it and he wears it every day! To shower, to workout, he even sleeps in it. I didn’t want to spend a ton of money on a necklace until I seen if he would actually wear it, and I’ve never had to invest in something more expensive because this one is so good !
