  • Great tires!!
Size: 225/65R17
I bought these for my Subaru Outback. I could not be more pleased. My brother cued me in on the value. We both live in the mountains in a rural area. I drove 27 miles on solid ice last winter and did not get sideways once. I do realize awd plays a part in that. Brother got 68k miles out of first set. He does not change them out in summer and had never had an issue. great on ice or snow! Will purchase again when these wear out. ... show more

  • Unpaid and Honest Review - These are great Tires.
Size: 235/45R18
I don't submit a lot of reviews, these warrant one though. Bought a 2nd set of 18" tonight and will confirm these are the best winter tires I've ever used. I live at 9k feet in Colorado, and normally need studs for the mid winter ice, but didn't with these. They grip and handle really well on a front wheel drive Passat. I left them on for the summer because I was lazy, and wore them down pretty good, but could have easily gone another winter if I hadn't. They are not noisy, and balance really well. I drive 80 mph for two hour everyday and can't tolerate a vibration. These great tires... period. ... show more

  • Good tires for the money.
Size: 275/60R20
Great winter tires. No complaints. I put them on my 2024 tundra. They grip well in New England winters.

  • Mystery Flats
Size: 225/65R17
Bought four tires. Used for 3 months before one mysteriously went flat. Had it checked but couldn't find source of leak. Put it back in service, and 1 month later the same tire went flat again. Was tempted to get rid of all four, but ordered one to replace the bad one. Didn't try warranty. Lord knows how one would claim a tire warranty from amazon. As far as the three tires other than the flats, the tires are great. I've owned Blizzaks, and was happy with these Nexens before the flats. Good in snow, good ride, quiet. Won't buy again. Update- A second tire out of the five has now gone mysteriously flat. Possibly defective beads from the factory? Tires are complete junk. I will never buy another Nexen tire. Star rating changed to one star. I would rate them zero stars, but that is not an option. ... show more

  • Very Nice Tires.
Size: 235/70R16
good quality tires. I have tested many flavors of winter tires and this work great in the snow belt. I am in snowbelt Michigan and a rural Postal carrier. I go through a lot of every terrain. These tires give me the confidence I need out there. I can legally use studs. I did purchase them but never installed them ... show more

  • Great value for money. Great value for money.
Size: 205/60R16
The car: 2020 Kia Niro, wheels aligned last week. The place: a parking lot The conditions: 15⁰f, 1.5" of semi-packed snow. See photo. Just got these tires and mounted them last week. Got our first snowfall since, last night. To preface, I've had tons of different snow tires over the years. Nokian Hakka's, Gislaved's, Blizzak's, Michelin's, Goodyear's, General, Firestone, name it. The very best are the Nokian and the Gislaved, no contest. But, they can be hard to find and they're expensive. At $80 each, these are a no brainer. Take-off grip: 8/10. Stopping grip: 8/10 Lateral grip: 9/10 Several times, I got up to 30mph and stomped on the brakes. The car stopped in an adequately short distance every time. Getting going, I mashed the gas from a stop, letting the traction control do its thing, and got up to speed at a surprisingly quick rate each time. The tires really shine where I think it's most important, though: lateral hold. I took a hard 90⁰ turn at 15mpg 5 times, and the car simply went where I pointed it with almost zero drift. I took a 130⁰ turn at 35mph 5 times, with no noticeable drift whatsoever. This was most impressive. I would compare these tires to a Blizzak in terms of forward grip and stopping, and they're about $50 more per tire. In terms of lateral grip, I would compare them to a Hakka, which are more than twice the price. No idea how durable they'll be after dry pavement driving, but for snow they're worth the $80 price tag. ... show more

  • pretty ok for the money
Size: 225/45R17
I just pushed snow with the bumper of a BMW for an entire block. Stopped, and then set off without issue with snow up to the bottom of the doors. they're not super quiet and the wet performance is meh, but they will have traction in the snow. This weekend was my second winter storm with these. 90% the performance of a top tier winter tire at 60% the cost. ... show more
