  • Great choice if you care about performance
Size: 235/45R17
Just as good in the snow, a million times better in the dry compared to the winterforce 2's I replaced. Seeing as it doesn't snow every day the dry weather performance is important and these do not disappoint. In the snow I had no issues in my e39 530i sport, (rear wheel drive and low car if you don't know, because not everyone buying tires is a car enthusiast.) ... show more

  • Good in the snow.

  • Quiet, good snow traction, and good handling
Size: 235/45R17
These tires are quiet on even some of the worst highways which is impressive for a winter tire. I've been very impressed with Nexen recently, so I decided to give these a shot at $85 a piece. I have a 2015+ WRX and it's not as fun in the winter anymore since these grip so well. It's like there's not even snow on the ground. Braking is good too and they understeer less than my last pair (this car is prone to understeer due to the engine placement over the front wheels). They ride on the firm side which is to be expected from a performance oriented winter tire, which is what you want on a "performance" car. Very stable at high speeds and very responsive. The only con is that they flat spot below 20 degrees which is a little disappointing for a winter tire. It takes about 10 minutes of driving to get rid of the spots. ... show more

  • Great for Cold Weather Driving. Sub 65 tire
Size: 215/45R17
tread will throw snow/ rain and will eat mud too. Put these on my Mini Cooper 2dr and went through upstate NY winter, dont throttle hard and youll always have grip. Turns at speed and whippy steering, i really had to try to break these loose on pavement, if i had more weight in my rear of the car these would be even better. Definitely recommend not getting them TOO warm, late spring early summer and hot asphalt makes these things soft & sloppy on mountain curves. ... show more

  • Some of the Best Winter Tires I've Ever Owned
Size: P235/45R18
I've used Kleber, Bridgestone, Goodyear and Michelin winter tires, but these Nexen are the smoothest and quietest ones I've ever had. I bought them in November 2019 and up until now, January 2020, I've only had 2 snow days with less than 1 inch each, to test their capabilities. However, they do handle very well on dry and wet cold pavement. So far I'm totally satisfied. I'll provide an update if I get better winter weather. ... show more

  • Nice tires!
Size: 225/45R18
Bought 4 Nexen Winter tires for my car. 2 - 225/45/18 for the front, & 2 - 245/45/18 for the rear. VERY reasonably priced at $427 shipped to my front door! Just had them paired with the winter rims I bought. Will be putting them on my car soon, here in Connecticut. The tires have deep thread & it looks like they will be good in the snow. With a 350hp rear-wheel drive car, I’m sure hoping they are!! Worth the risk at this price.. ... show more

  • DO NOT BUY
Size: 215/45R17
I bought two tires and after about 18 months, cracks started to show and grow on the sidewall of both tires as shown on the provided pictures. i have to mount the old tires back until I buy a new set of tires but definitely not this brand!
