    • They must have changed the tires
Installed on a 2012 Ford Explorer Limited. They must have changed the tires since all the 'noisy' feedback*, I ended up checking other online resources and did not see the same sort of comments being left. I find them to be slightly louder than the Hankook tires they replaced, at little growl when braking and a little more thump when hitting buckles in the concrete at highway speed. A very minimal difference making them well worth the saving over putting Hankook tires back on. They performed very well during a heavy rain recently, better than the Hankook tires. *I think Hankook dealers are leaving all of the "they're noisy" comments. ;-) ... show more

Only have probably 1,000 miles on them.....so far they are quiet, handle well, and shed water well on a Ford Explorer Limited UPDATE Dec 2020: NOT SURE WHY THERE ARE NOISE COMPLAINTS OR PREMATURE TREAD WEAR....They are quiet and wear great!!........ I put the 50 series 20” Nexen Roadian HP on my 16 Explorer a couple of years ago and have been very pleased on dry, wet, or winter weather period. They hold the road, get water out of the way and have good winter traction. The tread wear is also excellent. I had always stuck with brand names tires like Bridgestone, etc. but these tires are more than worth their inexpensive cost. I’m pretty picky on tires(my dad used to own and operate a couple of tire stores back in the day). I will buy them again when the time comes for them to be replaced. Update January 21...finally got to try them out in deeper snow. I’ll have to say I was impressed with the traction. ... show more

I buy a set of these tires every couple of years for my wife's explorer she gets a good 2 solid years out of a set and is always on the go so they get some decent miles put on them I've never had a problem with one of these tires so far and I've ordered a few sets
