The fabric is breathable. These are not soft though, slightly scratchy. Expensive, but my 5 month old sometimes wants to sleep face down which is stressful. We have the Newton mattress and these Newton sheets now. Would recommend.

I don’t know if the other reviewers were paid to write that these weee soft, but they are SO rough. I have washed them a dozen times without using them to try to soften them, and they do not soften up like regular muslin. I would never use these on my baby’s sensitive skin, but the return period closed. Save your money and get any other 100% cotton crib sheets that are way cheaper and also breathable. ... show more
