Good Quality Poles but did not fit Birdhouse or Birdfeeder
Review Image by godsgirlrae godsgirlrae
We ordered two poles that look great and are made well but unfortunately like the other review it did not fit our bird house or our bird feeder that both required a 4x4 post as the pole opening was to big. My husband had to purchase a wooden 4x4 post to stick on the end and then attached it to the Decorative mounting post. Its worked and looks great but I cant give it 5 stars because we have to go out and buy additional hardware to make it work. ... show more

Super easy to install and great looking
So easy for us to install and looks great. My husband and I installed it very easily and were able to adjust the mechanism inside to compensate for it not being perfectly straight. Purchased Dove Cote and it just slid right on like it was made for it! The fact that it is PVC and doesn’t require any painting, just a little soap and water! ... show more

BEAUTIFUL FUNCTIONAL POST ‼️
Review Image by GMom GMom
We purchased this post to hold a large bird house. It is well constructed and very sturdy. Also has a great leveling feature. Requires NO hole digging! We looked at many posts and this one is superior.

Bird house and pole don’t fit together
I purchased this pole because it was shown with the bird house I was ordering. I naturally assumed that the pole would fit with the bird house since it was a suggestion to go with it. Unfortunately the birdhouse did not fit the pole and I had to get a block of wood, attach it to the pole with screws and then set the bird house on top. The pole itself is fine and has a sturdy metal insert inside. The bird house is charming. Just disappointed that Amazon would allow these two items shown together as if they would fit easily. In the process of trying to make it fit, I ended up scratching the birdhouse which will now have to touched up with paint. ... show more

Do not purchase unless you are sure what you want to mount fits
The item is well made and handsome but it did not fit the birdhouse I purchased at the same time from Amazon even though Amazon suggested this as something to purchase with the birdhouse and the company assured me it would fit. I have kept the birdhouse and found a pole locally which fit the birdhouse. I would like to return the pole but the company is not cooperative and Amazon is not helpful. I should not have to pay postage when the company (and Amazon) suggested the birdhouse would fit. Beware of buying without considering these factors. ... show more

perfect with birdhouse.
This post looks great with the birdhouse. I purchased 2 of these posts because I have 2 birdhouses to mount. One of the decorative sleeves was broken. The company is replacing it. Other than that these are sturdy and look much better than just a 4x4 post. I would buy this item again.

Easy with a little help from other reviewers
Review Image by SciFi Mama SciFi Mama
This was my first attempt at adding something in my yard that needed to be driven into the ground. With a 10 lb sledgehammer and a post hole digger to remove some very large rocks, I was able to get this up in about an hour. Thanks to the advice of other reviewers, I added a wooden 4x4 into the top half to allow my birdhouse to mount properly. I love it so much, I ordered a second one. ... show more

Disregard negative review from other buyer! This is a fantastic post
Review Image by fmzip fmzip
Excellent post for our new feeder. I'd suggest disregarding the negative review as the person purchased a bird feeder which was NOT for a 4x4 post. Well built and packaged, easy to drive into the ground and also comes with self leveling guides on the post if the post goes into the ground slightly crooked. ... show more
