  • So good! Recommend sizing up .5 size
Color: Sea Salt/Vintage Indigo/Hot Mango Size: 9
These shoes are SO comfortable. I use them mostly for walking but also for some interval running. They’re perfect! About sizing though: Ordered these in my normal size 9 but also 9.5 and ended up keeping the 9.5. I wouldn’t say they run small BUT the size 9 was too tight for a walking/running shoe. You need to give your toes a little bit of space to spread out as you run/walk or you’ll end up with painful toes/blisters. 9 fit me like a normal shoe but 9.5 gave the perfect amount of space. Highly recommend. This color is also SO CUTE! Definitely has a retro color to them. ... show more

  • Springy sole - best for being on your feet for many hours.

Like the quality, very comfortable, non slip, worth of its money, true to size.

  • These are so good they’re my second pair
Color: Inkwell/Calcium/Copper Size: 6
If you have high arches - these are the shoes for you. I mean I’m not a doctor but I have super high arches and if I wear flat shoes or anything without support for over an hour, the middle of my feet hurrrrrrrrt. Badly. I have ON Clouds, I like them. But not for walking long distances or stretches of time in. I tried the infamous Hokas. I actually went to the shoe store to finally “buy into” (literally) the Hoka hype bc so many people rave about them. Their cushion, their support, how long they can wear them throughout the day - and several of my friends are either in the medical industry and on their feet all day, and/or marathon runners. But they just weren’t doing it for me. I honestly do not get the Hoka hype. I really don’t. It felt like they were squeezing my feet from the sides inwards? Idk how to explain it. And I have a normal width foot. And I tried on several variations of that brand. I mentioned this to the gentleman helping me with my shoe selection. I told him I have really high arches, my ON Clouds were not cutting it, and I just was not into any of the Hokas enough to buy them. He suggested the New Balance 1080x14s. I half-way rolled my eyes thinking NB is the official Dad-shoe and I would have to go get some appalling socks to go with them lol. But agreed to try one on with a Hoka on the other foot. THE SECOND I took my first step in the New Balances I verbally exclaimed out loud “oh noooooooooo 😫😫 not the dad shoe!” Yes. The dad shoe. The amount of cushion, the arch support, they’re lightweight, they come in like 15 color options or something like that, I was sold. This blue pair is my second pair that I bought immediately (one pair for the gym which isn’t really necessary but they feel so amazing I told myself they were) and this second pair for running trails, walking, etc. The dads know what’s up. Sorry for all the jokes I made at your expense all these years. Carry on. ... show more

  • Love these
Color: Clementine/Angora/Dried Apricot Size: 8 Wide
I did a lot of research online and finally ended up with this shoe as I was looking for high cushion, comfort, good fit, high ratings etc. Soooo comfortable. Despite the high cushion, the shoe feels stable (not wobbly) and not overly constricting either. I had to exchange the 7.5W for size 8W as the 7.5W was a bit short. My new fav's on running shoes are this New Balance Fresh Foam 1080 v14 (I even managed to memorize the title) and also Asics Novablast 5 (a top shoe for running and walking, though not quite the level of stack of this NB shoe which is why I wanted to try this one as well). By the way, I found out that if your feet are a just a bit wider than the regular width of a running shoe, it's best for your feet to go with wide (my body is on the slender side but I discovered a couple years ago that I need wide in running shoes). Note, I've also bought Brooks and many Hokas in the past and they both make great shoes, but again the above 2 shoes are my new favorites. ... show more

  • The definition of running shoe bliss
Color: Sea Salt/Vintage Indigo/Hot Mango Size: 8 Wide
I’ve always loved New Balance running shoes, but like many others I found myself straying away and into the newest, best thing everyone was talking about (you know what I’m talking about) and I should have never gone that route. These shoes are so comfortable and the fit is perfect (for me). This is a hybrid running shoe, so it gives a lot of cushion and also stability. The arch support is also good, I don’t like a shoe with too much arch support because after running too many times it just makes my feet ache. If you have wide feet (like me) then these will also give you a great fit as they come in wide and X wide sizes also. Overall I would recommend these New Balance 1080s over many others I have tried and the price here is equal to if not better than what I’ve seen elsewhere. Run like you’re on a cloud with these! ... show more

  • Poor Energy Return for Runners
Color: Clementine/Angora/Dried Apricot Size: 8 Wide
I ordered this shoe in my usual size, and it fit perfectly. When I first slipped the shoes on, they felt extremely comfortable and cushiony on the inside. Perfect for walking around in all day. Unfortunately, that's not what I needed these for as I am marathon training, and I ended up returning them. Here are the pros and cons: Pros: • Great true to size fit, available in a variety of sizes and widths • Tons of colour selection • Very comfortable straight out of the box • Extremely cushioned, great for all day casual wear, and suitable for wearers of a heavier body size who want a shoe with tons of cushioning Cons: • Shoe is far too "squishy" and cushioned for run training for my preference. Running in these feels like running through sand or snow. There is very poor energy return, and my legs and feet felt incredibly fatigued very quickly. • Poor ventilation: my feet became hot just minutes into my test run. • Big, clunky outer profile: the shoe has a big wide base/outer and a couple of times, I nearly tripped myself on my own feet. The outsole is just too large and bulky for efficient running. Overall, I would not recommend these to anyone who is serious about running or training for any races, unless you're looking to build strength (running in these reminds me of wearing ankle weights.) However, this is an excellent shoe for someone looking for an extremely cushioned all day trainer for casual wear or walking- particularly in cooler temperatures, assuming you don't get very hot or sweaty feet. ... show more
