Edit: I am on my 4th pair of these now, and I still love them. One weird thing about these shoes is every single pair I’ve had, the laces break at around 6 months of wearing them. No big deal though. I bought these for work because I needed slip resistant shoes and did not want them to look like work shoes. These checked all my boxes and then some. They are a fashionable, running shoe style that are so comfortable to wear, I find myself wearing them on my days off while at home as well! I am actually on my second pair, same exact style. My first pair lasted about 2 years of wearing almost every day. They still had lots of life left, I just wanted a fresh pair. The old ones are my backup pair now. I’m sure I will eventually be buying a third pair! The tread on the bottom of the first pair was almost worn completely down and smooth, and the slip resistance was still there. THEY RUN SMALL! These shoes are amazing! I have a job that I have to be standing and walking around for 10 straight hours. Wearing these new balances really helped my feet. These shoes are not heavy. They feel comfortable and roomy. I had bought a size 9 wide originally because that is my size. I’m usually a size 9 in new balances. I have a few pairs of New balances that are 9s and they fit perfectly . I had to reorder a new pair that are 9 1/2 and they fit way better. I put these 9 1/2 against the 9 shoe and they were bigger by a few inches. I ended up giving my size 9 to my daughter for work. Order a size up from your normal shoe size. ... show more

i bought these for work as i’m on my feet all day. they’re comfortable and soft, but somehow hard at the same time (in a good way). my only problem was it curves a lot in the front which i’m not sure if it’s because it’s a running shoe, if that has anything to do with it, or not but it was very uncomfortable for my toes. it felt like they were being pushed together by a very very tight hair tie. they aren’t ugly either, i just personally don’t like black shoes, and that was probably part of the problem as well. as for quality, they are good quality shoes for the price (nowadays at least). they don’t feel heavy when you’re walking in them either. overall, these shoes are great but don’t buy if you have a wide toe area. ... show more
