I was looking for golf shoes I could wear while driving to the course and not need to change shoes. Being 78 requires one to think about things I didn’t consider a couple of decades ago! Previously had Ecco golf shoes which worked well but didn’t age well. They were real leather and once mud stained were really unsightly and I couldn’t clean them adequately. I needed 11 wide and if you are a seasoned golfer you know that pretty much means New Balance or Foot Joy. These New Balance 564 Greens are perfect. Fit is accurate both length and width. Arch support is great. Sole pattern is the best I’ve had in a spikeless shoe, good traction even in wet grass on a hill. The synthetic “leather” is black all the way through and very unlikely to look faded even as they age. Waterproof as well, feet stay dry even in the rain. Clean up nicely with just a damp towel. If they came in brown or tan I’d buy another pair. All around great shoes. ... show more

Fit ok in 8.5 but I would prefer size 8 for length if it had a properly wide toe box for a shoe described as Wide. This one narrows too much where a wide foot widens.

I have a wide foot, hammer toes, bunions, and bunionettes. I have the feet of a star ballerina and the body of her single uncle joe. Regardless, I always know a 9 wide will fit me in NB.     • Golf Shoes For Big Foot
I have a big foot, size 15 4E. These shoes fit and are comfortable, even with a custom foot insert. They grip well on slippery grass, and so far resist early morning dew. The sole nubs still look good after a summer of golf. The downside is that these golf shoes have a very flimsy and thin sole. They can easily flex and bend like a bedroom slipper. You can feel rocks through the sole. Still, they are decent golf shoes, but I will likely purchase something more substantial next time. ... show more
