Purchased for parent with drop foot. Need the stability but also a tongue that isn’t sew-in on the sides to allow for brace. New Balance is the only brand of shoe that works with brace, but also provides a decent sized toe box and overall comfort. Sized up 1.5 for brace.

I do not do use these for running in but for working where on my feet for 8to9 hrs on tile floors. They are amazing!! I have so much less pain in my feet and legs. No more tears trying to walk home after my shift as I did with other brands. These will work until it’s time to purchase a new pair of runners but I probably will go for a different new balance style the next time. I’m a Vazee Pace girl but they stopped making that line so I was going for a similar 6mm drop. These fit the bill. They also have a nice toe space. I have a wider foot. I do always go up a half size for running shoes and these worked out fine for size. My problem is the shoe seems to hug my ankle too high. I feel like it’s all up in my space on the ankle. I can still run with them but I just don’t understand why they designed them that way. Other than that good support and light weight. Amazon sometimes will have good deal. Very good price (about $25)for this great product. I bought new balance size 5.5 and always fit well. So comfortable, I wear it to have morning walk everyday.

These are great if you have wide feet in the toes and small heel. Less foot pain and helps back and knees feel better after working on your feet all day! Got them for my mom and she loves them!
