I have supination and plantar fasciitis and have become accustomed to redesigning and/or adding to my inserts to alleviate my foot and leg pain. The New Balance x88 V15's arrived today and I *almost* went to put my inserts in them before walking in them, but decided not to and just let the V15's be the V 15's and WOW! These really keep my feet from rolling! And if you have a tendency to sluff along, these shoes force you to pick up your feet! The cushioning is also SUPERIOR! When you're over 60, gone are the days of cheap, cute shoes and you realize you're investing in your back! Well worth the money on saving from chiropractic visits! BTW: I found out about these she from asking Twitter/X's AI Grock after explaining about my supination and plantar fasciitis, along with my age (66) and being on my feet for 6 hours. Grock also suggested I go up 1/2 a size, which I did and am glad I did! I'd also like to thank Amazon or New Balance, (whoever shipped the shoes) for the lightening fast delivery! I'll be recommending the X15's to all I know.

I've always worn a 6W, but for some reason these shoes fit a bit snug around the toe area. They are beautiful and I love how nice they look but just a wee too tight. I don't know if a different color would fit normal but I can't chance it. Thank you anyway.

Perhaps these would be great for someone, but I found them very heavy to wear and found myself walking very weird in them. They feel very clunky. So if you do get them, make sure you really like them. I thought I loved them the first few times I wore them, but after a few times, they just didn't 'get it' for me. Luckily, I found some other older 880s in my narrow size and have purchased them.

I have been buying NB 880's in the same size (9 Wide) for 6 years so I foolishly threw the box away before trying these on. This version is so narrow that the ball of my foot fell asleep within minutes of putting them on. I'm very disappointed in spending $165 on useless shoes
