Cushioning is superior, length of shoe is about an inch short of regular/stated size. In other words, size up a half size so that your toes aren't touching the top of the shoe.

I have purchased new balance shoes in the past. They hold up well and are very comfortable, but in this model they run narrower. I have a wide foot and ordered the wide size but it was still too narrow for me. Usually new balance wide is wide enough, but not these ones.
