    • The most comfortable shoes I think I've ever owned
These shoes feel like slippers. Very lightweight and comfortable fit. I bought them with the intention of using them for long walks and they work perfect for that purpose. I have also ended up wearing them to work most days as they are just too comfortable to pass up when I'm grabbing shoes in the morning. **All that said, I do not use these shoes for jogging or hiking. I prefer a shoe with lots of stability when I jog and hike and these have very little of it. I have a fair amount of pronation in my steps and these are not able to account for that. And as far as hiking goes, these shoes not only have no support, but the sole has no traction whatsoever. I would recommend this shoe to anyone looking for a very comfortable walking shoe and/or casual everyday shoe. But I would not recommend these shoes for any use with a higher impact than just walking around. ... show more

    • Solid running shoe for wide feet and beginners, not a long-term solution.
I was looking for a wide-fit running show that was affordable, as I am just starting to run as part of my efforts to improve my health and activity. I wanted something to try as a test, typically I just run in whatever shoes I have, but I've found that my feet hurt and often form blisters. These met my price criteria and had great reviews at the price point, often taking the "budget" spot on top-lists on various sites. I'm not disappointed. My feet don't hurt and I haven't had anymore blisters despite increasing the distance in which I run vs. walking. That said, they aren't perfect for my wide feet in particular. I have found that they don't have enough in the arch department. This could be specific to my foot shape, but I've found that while it is wide enough to be comfortable, along the center it doesn't have a wide enough base and my foot tends to rock inward as it lands. This leads to at least one of my feet becoming fatigued as that interior muscle along my arch tenses to make up for the lack of support. If you have wide feet with little to no arch, this could be an issue for you as well. You'll want to stick to even terrain to combat this and pay attention to how your stride is landing, my neighborhood doesn't offer much perfectly flat road, unfortunately. That said, they are cheap, they are light, they keep my feet feeling fresh after a workout, instead of feeling sore all over. No blisters, no rubbing, no noticeable wear so far. A great holdover shoe for beginners until they can graduate to more expensive contenders in the wide-footed running space. ... show more

    • Love this shoe from New Balance
I had been trying for nearly a year to find a new tennis shoe for my workouts. I love New Balance so I kept trying different ones they offered but to no avail. I didn't like how bulky some of them felt. And it was quite an ordeal, because where I live there are like 3 options for stores to buy shoes. So I was mostly buying online, trying on at home, and then sending back when they didn't work out. Finally, it dawned on me that I should search for the style of New Balance that I already had. Sure enough, this one came up. I was skeptical after placing the order, thinking surely this will be another fail. But no, they fit great just like the previous ones I had of this style. I typically wear a 10, but since they're for exercising, I went up to an 11, because you always want that extra room for your toes. They're light weight, very comfortable and exactly what I wanted. Finally a shoe that fits me. I love New Balance. NB designs and comforts are great. I tried another brand to switch out. It felt like I was walking on wood. NB is easy to put on and off. Bottom part is not very soft compared to my previous NB. But I don’t walk too much as So it’s ok. If you don’t walk for many miles, it’s great sneakers. I got size 81/2. I wear this size. It fits just right. I buy 81/2 in other brands too. So this size fits true. Great price on Amazon too. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. As you can see, my New Balance are already a bit dirty by the time I got around to write this review. That’s because I wear them everyday to work. Before that I drop kids off at daycare/school and afterwards I go to the gym in an even dirtier pair of the same shoe. Lol so long story short, it’s an awesomely comfortable shoe fit for a number of purposes. And they come clean with a couple douses of Spray n’ Wash and a light tumble in the washing machine. :) ... show more

    • Great value sneaker.
I bought these in 11 even though I normally am 10.5 due to another person commenting that this sneaker runs a bit small. I did not do a full size up like recommended by them but I probably could get away with an 11.5. Basically do yourself a favor and order atleast a half size to a full size up then what your normally used to. You'll be glad you did. Otherwise, for the price your getting a good value, decent comfort and quality, and they look pretty good too! ... show more

    • Older versions were better, and had better softer foam, this fresh foam is stiffer. Disappointed!

Title pretty much says it all, New Balance has changed the materials they use in the arishi. They reduced the amount of rubber on the bottom of the shoes where there are locations where there is no rubber at all ( the little circular spaces) which can also be a hazard if you step on sharp rocks or other objects and pierce through the shoe. Second the foam is much stiffer then the older version or the more original version. I compared them with my older arishi shoes that i bought back in 2018 or 2019 and the foam on those arishi was much softer and felt like i was walking on a cloud ( they were very comfortable). These V3 models feel as if New Balance decided to skimp out on material while maintaining the same look. I am disappointed with these models. I don't recommend them. They are light and comfortable as well, but from my comparison of the older models, these are sub par. ... show more
